Who Am I?

I am an average looking guy, shy and introverted. In academics I a pretty good and kinda great in writing essays and stuff. When it comes to sports I never got an opportunity to be a part of any team but I always played basketball in street and I was pretty damn great in it. I am short , but compensates it with my accurate threes, high jumps, dribbling capability and stamina-thanks to my work in the factory which I did back in my old neighborhood. So I’m pretty confident with my basketball skills and for the first tI’me in my life I’m able to have a tryout in school team.

Chad is shooting guard and Nate plays small forward. Nate won most of the MVP trophies back in middle school and is one of the popular hot guys along with his brother. But Nate is already dating Beth a studious girl with singing background. She has voice of an angel is expected to be famous vocalist before the end of high school years.

Then I looked into cheerleading group which was exclusively assigned for basketball team this year. It consist of Sophie- hot brunette , Hillary- Blonde foxy , Cami my own brunette cousin .Then among the others I saw her.. A blonde beauty .. Lily Andrews… her eyes were so beautiful that can put anyone in a trance.. She is known to be popular girl having some previous boyfriends but currently single. Like any other boy I also was head over heels over this angel.

Suddenly coach entered the court and stated the drills for the day and even made us play against each other. I had my moments to show off but sticked to winning moves and Passing and some occasional threes.. I was really trying for that point guard position and I think I made a good Impression on the coach also, with my performance. Other two who Impressed everyone with their talents where Bob a tall center and new addition to the school Archie who played power forward. It was clear that Archie was here to show off his skills and I kinda felt jealous when Lily along with her other cheerleading mates were eyeing him up and down. Well, I can’t blame them though he had a physique of a Greek god. Man, my expectations for a future with my blonde angel may be obstructed by Mr. Show Off. Later we were dismissed and I was pretty confident about myself and thought that Chad Nate Bob Archie and me will make the starting 5. My confidence were all gone when Bryce a known a-hole joked about my height and a guy like me will never even make the bench..

Well I did my part next is all on the hands of god..

I went back home and Cami came in after sometime and told me she and lily are thick friends which made me jump but suddenly put off by her “Somebody has a crush. But sorry boy u don’t stand a chance with her. She already has hots for someone”.

When I thought it’s the end of the first day of my new life suddenly I heard aunt Nic screaming through her phone ”I told u multiple times after I leave nobody calls me. I’m already pissed that u forgot the bag in my car..” I was awe struck with her tone and when I peeked I saw her she was drunk which was normal but what intrigued me was that she was carrying a duffel bag. As she was trying to go upstairs to her room, I saw she was struggling so I ran and helped her towards the bed. It was clear that she is sound asleep as she fall onto the bed.
