“While she was working as a maid..."

Joker sat idly at the bar of Cafe Leblanc, sipping a cup of coffee and casually checking his messages and generally trying to ignore the screeching motor that was reverberating through the air and making the windows rattle. He shot a side long glance at Morgana, huddling under a table with his hair standing on end. He snorted a bit to himself.

"Hey! You shut up! I may really be a human, but I still have a cat's instincts! And just because I know this is really just a loud vacuum cleaner doesn't mean I can make my body understand some screaming monster isn't trying to eat me, okay!" Morgana shouted at Joker over the hum of the behemoth.

"Wow. You kitty can get really loud, huh?" Kawakami called out from his loft.

"You don't know the half of it." Joker said, downing his coffee. "How's it coming, by the way?"

"Slow and exhausting! Don't you feel just a little guilty making a cute, fragile little maid clean up such a dusty place like this, Master?" Kawakami complained.

"I would if I didn't routinely let my cute, fragile little mail slack off most of the time I hire her while still charging full price. What your really complaining about is that for once I actually need you to do a full night's work for me like a normal client." Joker observed.

"Hmph. Well, someone's not getting any free time this week!" Kawakami muttered.

"Have it your way. Just try to finish up quickly."

"Yes, Master. But for the record, you were way cuter when you let me walk all over you." Kawakami shot back.

Joker was going to retort when a loud 'keeyah!" rang down the stairs, followed by a ominous cloud of dust. Joker made his way up the stairs to find his cute, fragile maid practically covered in dust and debris from head to toe. The vacuum cleaner lay on the crowd, the hose apparently having popped out of the main device regurgitated a considerable amount of its contents onto his teacher.

"Gross! Gross! Gross!" Kawakami said in dismay.

Joker snickered at the sight.

"You shut up! This is all your fault, you know!" Kawakami wailed.

"My fault for expecting a maid to know how to properly use a vacuum cleaner?" Joker asked.

"That order to 'shut up' still stands, you know!" Kawakami snapped. "Crap! I need this for work tomorrow night too! I'll have to wash it...."

"Well, you have a washer at your place, right?" Joker asked.

"Oh come on! I can't go home like this."

"Then change into some none-work clothes." Joker suggested.

"Uhhhh...yeah. Good idea. If I brought any with me...."

"Sigh."

"I know! I could borrow some of your clothes!"

"Ummm....putting aside the fact that I'm fresh out of bras or dresses....do you think anything I own will fit you?" Joker asked.

"Sigh. No. Your way too lanky for a kid your age. You need to eat regularly and get a proper meal." Kawakami lectured.

Joker decided not to voice the counter argument that entered his mind, namely that a woman his teacher's age should try to eat a little less and avoid developing the kind of posterior that would make fitting into his pants an impossibility.

"Well, I guess you'll just have to do your laundry in the nude." Joker said at last.

"Oh right. In your dreams, buddy. Remember, might be a maid but still your teacher!" Kawakami snapped.

"I'm serious. The only thing I can offer you to wear would be a towel or a bedsheet. Besides, you'd probably want to shower anyway." Joker said.

Kawakami glared at him.

"I'm not trying to catch a peek here. Just saying- you have limited options. I'll be good and avoid staring at you. Probably." Joker said.

Kawakami glared. "You'd better if you value your essay scores!"

"So....I guess you'd better...."
