Alex and Linsey talk with each other

After a few minutes ago…

Alex was sitting down outside the hospital on a bench as Linsey came over..

“Hey…. Sorry about all that peeping I—“

“Don’t tell Urien…”

“What?”

“Please…. I’m begging you!!”

“Look he’s a dick I get that much…. But he’s your boss, I’m sure he wouldn’t—”

“He may be my boss, but he really hates people getting in the way of his plans, he’d probably have Piper put down if he found out what I used his money for….” Said Alex stating the cold hard truth to Linsey..

“I’m sorry, I didn’t realize…....”

“….it’s fine,…. you know I used to be an honest man, I had a wife once, a stable job, she was pregnant and about to go into labor, life was good….”

“So….. what happened?”

“….. When Piper was born, it was discovered she had a heart disease, doctors called it Arrhythmia..”

Linsey continued to listen as Alex sighed

“My wife left me after receiving the news, claiming she only married me cuz of my looks and the chance to have a nice healthy child and she left me with Piper in the divorce….”

“Oh my god…”

“I started losing sleep over her, thinking that everyday she spent…. Could be her last, I felt nothing but pain after all that..”

“What was your job?”

“I used to be a dishwasher, it was a nice job till I couldn’t keep up with demands as my loss of sleep got me fired, leaving me unemployed…. But I was able to pay for the surgery, but that went as well as you could expect….”

“So how did you….”

“I’m getting to it, I fell into a state of depression, I barely had enough money to keep myself going, until…… She came….”

“She?”

“Andra….. She and Urien found me sulking on a bench, Andra claimed she looking for people to do “odd jobs” for her as she claimed I looked homeless enough to work her “odd jobs..”

“So…. You then started a life of crime, just to save your daughter?”

“….. I did….. I’m not proud of the things I’ve done, but I was able to make enough money to pick myself up, I had another surgery paid for only for it to fail once again, but I didn’t beat myself up over it too badly, I knew I could make back that money easily, I didn’t care about what the consequences were for breaking the law anymore, I just wanted Piper to be able to live the life she wanted…”

“Wow….. I’m sorry, I…. Didn’t realize you went through all that..”

“Thanks…. You know, it’s feels nice to finally talk to someone about this..”

“Yeah….”

“So… what’s your deal?”

“Huh?”

“Ill be Frank, I only know so little about your war from Gina, but I know she has some kind of personal gripe with you..”

“Ohh that, She got herself cursed by the Will of The Universe, I took advantage of her to help me feel something anything, after she got my brother to commit suicide..”

“Damn….. that’s rough…. So how’s that going right now..”

“You’re probably going to think I’m crazy and—“

“Please, after hearing rumors about children in clans at a local public high school and some kind of deity cursing your enemy, I expect something crazy..”

“My brother….. is alive, I have another chance to be with him!!”

“Wow…. I don’t know what to say about that, so does that mean you’re giving up in your war?”

“No…. Not yet….. there’s still plenty of things that need to change, and I’m going to change No Name High for the better!!”

Alex smiled and got off the bench..

“Alright let’s go…”

“Go where?”

“You forget or something, we have a job to do, then maybe we can see how Piper’s doing…” said Alex feeling hopeful for the first time in his adult life..

“Yeah, let’s go!” She said as Alex and her fist-bumped…

They walked off ready to go help their friends all thanks to their new found resolve..

1.) Frank let’s himself get beat up by Yang as it gives Susan and Seth time to escape..

2.) Frank goes all hulk again, only to find the effects to be more potent after taking Crazy Blue more times then the recommended amount..

3.) Gina and Tom wake up to see Draxum smiling, he tells them his connection to them, as Gina barely cares as Tom is a bit scared of the guy, then his two faithful servants come in..

4.) Daniel, Yin, and Metilda look through the hallways to squash Jamie and Lucy………while throwing in some sick rhymes.. only for Linsey and Alex to arrive on the scene..
