John can't believe his ears. The most beautiful girl in the word just asked him to share a bed with her.

"Okay" is the only thing he can say.

Doe smiles and heads up stairs to get ready for bed. John takes their cups into the kitchen, rises them out, and fills them both up with water. He heads up stairs, and places the glasses of water by the bed before grabbing a pair of gym shorts and an old t-shirt. He changes into them, and then heads to brush his teeth just as Doe is finishing.

"There's a cup of water for you by the bed" he tells her, "to try to prevent hangovers in the morning."

"Thanks" she says as she smiles before climbing into his bed.

John brushes his teeth and uses the bathroom. Before climbing into bed, he asks "what time do you need to get up in the morning?"

"No later than 7:00" she says with a yawn. "I've set the alarm on my phone for 6:45." She doesn't even open her eyes as she says this.

"I'll set my alarms...just in case." He pushes a few buttons on his Bose radio as he says this, cuts off the light, then climbs into bed beside her.

Doe has already curled up on her side and has all but fallen asleep. John rolls onto his side and Doe pushes herself against him. In response, he wraps her arm around her and drifts happily off to sleep.
