Stay, it looks dangerous out there

Looking outside the hummer made Bria nervous. the buildings looked like they should be condemned, and as the big expensive vehicle lingered figures moved in the shadows. She had the sense of hungry lions watching, assessing the challenge of taking down their prey. If she got out, dressed in her teeny little dress she'd never make it home without being ****.

Bria moaned at the thought, clenching her hands to keep them from doing anything embarrassing.

"I'll do it," she said huskily. "I'll stay."

The driver nodded and pulled away from the crumbling curb. Bria watched as the shadowed figures turned to follow their progress. For a moment she wondered if they would give chase, catch her and drag her from the car to some dark alley....

"His place is just around the corner," said the voice of the big black man driving. His words distracted her from her fantasies, bring her back to the real world with a little blush.

"Hard to believe but this used to be a rich neighbourhood. Mansions used to stand here. J.C.'s is the only one left. Used to be some silent film star's home, then when the place went to seed they split it into tiny apartments. He grew up in one of those."

"J.C.?" she asked, seizing on the only piece of information she had about the man she'd agreed to work for.

"MC FTW."

"Who?"

"He's a rapper," the man said with a sigh.

"Oh! I think I've heard of him! For The Win, right?" she asked, completely guessing and lying. Rap to her was hateful garbage, not a music and certainly nothing anyone with talent would do. The fact that she'd danced to it didn't faze her in the least. When she was dancing she was thinking only of all the eyes undressing her and how they'd love to, but never would, get their hands on her.

"Right," the man replied drily.

Bria congratulated herself as they pulled up in front of a big building. She thought at first it was just another apartment building, and in fact it still had a sign proclaiming it one. But when she looked closer she saw that the sign had big letters saying, "MC FTW - no whites"
