The planning meeting

A few days had passed since the initial auditions. Your second business meeting with Mr Mathers had gone quite well at least from your perspective. He had with little choice to give you free reign to run the division as you saw fit and unlimited access to the company accounts. You had enjoyed the look on his face as he was **** to accept every one of your demands.

You were now sat in the new boardroom for your fresh enterprise. Around the rather large table were sat yourself, Tommy, Elissa & Klaus. Despite your eagerness you also had to admit to actually knowing little in the actual specifics in shooting videos. You were very glad for Klaus' expertise and he was very willing to take on the role of head director.

Elissa also had very happily stepped into the role as your personal assistant. Unfortunately so far you had not managed to find the time to take a more hands on approach with her.

“So I welcome you all to the very first meeting of...?” You tell everyone.

“Yeah, we don't even have a name yet do we? Vivid?” Tommy suggested.

“I think there already is an adult company with that name Tommy.” Elissa remarked.

“Hmm. Intimate Images?” You suggested.

“I like it. It kind of sounds sexy but isn't overtly crude.” Elissa stated.

“Well now we've chosen a name. I think I'll mention our my first concern.” Klaus interjected.

“I'm open to anything you have to say Klaus. While I am excited by all this I'm also happy to say I'm not entirely certain on how to proceed.” You reply.

“Well namely our roster. Three girls is not exactly a vast number. This isn't LA so we don't have agencies to rely on. I feel we may need to be more creative in our recruitment methods.” Klaus explained.

“You have a point there.” You reply.

“I don't know John can be pretty persuasive.” Tommy commented.

“I have an idea if I may.” Elissa stated.

“Go ahead.” You tell her.

“Now we all now in this industry fresh talent is where the money is. Everyone wants to be able to find that hot new upcoming girl and snap her up before anyone else.” Ellisa explained.

“You have a point there girl.” said Klaus.

“Well I heard my sister mentioning this morning that their school was holding a careers day today. I was thinking where better to look than new talent.” Elissa suggested.

“An excellent idea. But if it's today aren't we leaving it a little late?” Tommy asked.

“I'll give them a call and persuade them to let us have a stall.” You reply

Elissa made a quick note of the school's number and passed it to you.

You punch the number into the spider phone in the middle of the table. After a few rings a female voice answers the phone.

“May I ask who I'm speaking to you?”

“This is Vice-principal Marie Vincent.” An alluring female voice replies.

“Good day Ms Vincent. I'm John Doe and I represent a local media company and I have heard that you are holding a careers day?”

“Yes, we are but we sent out invitations months ago. We are fully booked I'm afraid.” She explains.

“I'm sure that it wouldn't be a problem for you to make some room for us. We are a fledgling company you see and we wouldn't take up much space.” You reply.

“Well, one of the other companies has dropped out.”

“Ah, excellent. We shall be there within the hour.” You inform her.

You cancel the call.

“Okay everyone. Gather everything we need and let's get to the school and meet me in the car park in ten minutes.”

Klaus, Elissa & Tommy all exit the room quickly to get anything that is needed. You wander down to the car park and wait for them. After a few minutes the four of you are all gathered. You realise Tommy's two seater isn't really the most suitable vehicle to transport you all so the four you get into Klaus' SUV.

Klaus drives over the school at a reasonable speed. Once again you find yourself in the car park of your sister's school. Gathering up the equipment the four of you make your way into school reception. A cute little dark haired receptionist barely a few years older than yourself looks up at you over her desk.

“Are you from the media company?” She asks

“Yes. Where do we need to setup?” You reply.

“Everyone is in the gym.” She answers.

“I think I can find the way.” You tell her.

As this is your old school you easily lead everyone to the gym. Upon seeing you enter a blonde woman in her mid thirties heads towards you. She has a slender, athletic figure and was wearing a dark business suit.

“Mr Doe I presume?”

She reaches out to shake your hand while doing so a look of recognition crosses her face.

“Were you not once a student here?” She asks.

“Yes. I've done quite well for myself since leaving school.” You answer.

“A local success story. I'm sure you'll be an excellent addition to the businesses here today.” She replies.

“There is one additional request if I may?”

“Yes?”

“Is there a room we could use for holding mock interviews in?” You enquire.

“The coach's office should be free. Your booth is right next to it anyway.” She replies.

Vice-Principal Vincent leads you over to your booth. The four of you quickly set everything up. As planned you have Klaus set up a camera in the coach's office to record any interviews. You have linked the camera to a computer set up in the booth streaming any interviews live. Ellissa stuck a quickly mocked up banner to the front of your booth.

The gym is actually quite busy with lots of students milling about. You utter a quick mental command to keep any male students away from your booth. You leave Klaus to man the camera in the coach's office while Tommy decides to check out the other booths on display leaving you and Elissa alone in the booth.

The two of you sit there patiently awaiting your first potential model.
