Chapter 10
by Suckersoprano
Try to escape?
No.
Dago moved to the window and looked out of it. They were pretty high up and he’d likely have no chance of surviving a fall, even with vampire powers. He inspected the rest of the room and found it had nothing to aid him. It didn’t have dressers, or closets, nothing. There was a locked door, another locked door, and a bathroom. He sat on the generously sized king bed and pressed the hell of his hand to his forehead. He’d gotten himself into some deep shit and now that he was completely without any hope of help, he wasn’t sure what to do.
He got up eventually and inspected the bathroom. He wasn’t sure if he was going to be told to stay here, if he couldn’t ever escape, but at least the bathroom was nice. He began to run a bath and found towels in a cabinet. He’d never been so grateful for something that would cover himself. He lowered himself into the bath and began to wash himself. He didn’t really need it, but it was the first self-serving thing he’d gotten to do since he walked into Lilith’s palace, let alone since he’d been dragged into the Greed circle.
Dago sat up straight when he heard someone at the door. It must be his new best friend, he thought bitterly. He pulled himself out of the bathtub and took his time drying himself off before cautiously exiting the bathroom, towel tied around his waist.
Mephistopheles was standing in front of the large mirror in the room, pulling off his tie, “Drop the towel, you have to earn clothes,” he said, without even glancing at Dago.
Do what he says?
