Before making a move, Time-Girl stopped to think about what she knew about the M-Rex. She recalled that their vision was based on movement. If she stayed perfectly still, it wouldn't see her. She froze in place and prayed that the wind didn't blow her hair. The M-Rex looked around. Clearly it could not see her. Coming to the conclusion that there was nothing to eat around, The M-Rex turned and moved on but Time-Girl didn't dare move until she heard the footsteps disappear.

Letting out a sigh a relief, Time-Girl started into the jungle. She would take refuge in a cave and started trying ti figure out how to get back to her own time. The only chance she had was her TDD which had finally finished charging. The TDD was designed to stop time but it was made using a lot of the same technology that was used to create the time tunnel. Using some tools, she had on her, she started tinkering with it. She was able to reenginer the TDD to propel her forward in time once it was fully charged. However, given the limited charge of the device, it could only send her so far forward before needing to charge again. It wasn't the ideal situation but it would eventually get her home. The catch was that this modifaction cut the time stop function down to 10 seconds and after use, the charge would reset and it would take here longer to jump to the next time period. By this point, the recall device that she installed on her energy pistol had activated and returned her pistol to her belt. She was glad that it could recall through time.

The TDD was charged so now it was time to see if it worked. I actived the command fell backwards into the time steam.
