You stumble up the hill, your breath coming in heaving gasps. The soft grass crumples under your feet as you rush headlong up to the top. Reaching the summit, you glance around yourself, and notice a small drainage pipe at the base of the opposite side. Quickly glancing behind yourself to make sure that you are not being followed, you race down towards it, hoping for some shelter, or at least a place to hide.

Reaching the base of the hill, your feet skid along the slight ravine at the base. A small trickle of water pours along the base, from the drainage pipe. A slight chill runs up your spine, but you quickly toss it aside, and bend over slightly to climb inside the dark hole. It is very quiet, and all you hear ahead of you is the sound of softly running water, along with a slight squishing sound that you cannot identify.

The light in here is dim, with slight shafts of light that pierce from ahead of you. Carefully, you make your way forward.

The passage ends after about thirty feet, and your feet splash into shallow water. You take several steps forwards, before hearing what sounds like a low growl. You rapidly spin, making another splash, but can see nothing. You hear only the sounds of the water and the slight squishing sound, that appears to be coming closer.

You pull your gun, and ready it. No target presents itself, and your blood rushes through your ears. You try to remain calm, but a little voice in your head screams at you to RUN! You look down the four pipes that spill into and out of this room, but you can see nothing.

Then, you feel a slight pressure on your ankle, and as you look down, you feel yourself yanked hard. The tug pulls you off your feet, and you splash down hard into the water, losing your grip on your gun. You spin over, and look to see a long tentacle wrapped around your ankle, leading to a pipe from which the squishing sounds have intensified in volume...
