John Boseman. A 32 year old former CEO for a major video game manufacturer. John was the poster child for the old standard "rags to riches story." His birth mother was a crack addicted prostitute, and his dad was serving a life sentence for ****. After bouncing around from one abusive foster home to another, he became a product of the system. But he was determined to make a better life for himself. Despite all of this, he was a straight A student all throughout school.

He was such a good student that he was accepted with a full scholarship to the top tech school in the country and 4 years later, had graduated with honors. By the age of 25 he had already worked his way through the ranks and had become CEO. He had also married his high school sweetheart. And with a salary of just over $1,000,000 plus stock options, he could afford a beautiful home and several cars. His was the kind of story only Hollywood could dram up.

That was until the day he was called in to the office and his life was changed forever. Restructuring was the reason he was given for his firing. And then to add to it, when he got home, he walked in to find his wife bent over the kitchen table, getting rammed by the pool cleaner. After one long and loud fight, she packed her things and left. 6 months later, a fair divorce settlement was finalized. She got 30,000 per month for spousal support but he kept the house and the cars.

He knew that with his stock options, financially he was ok. But it didn't help the depression. It didn't take away the loneliness and the empty feeling in his heart. It had become too much.
