More tricks!

Both Ivy and Beth were in awe of what they'd just witnessed. There was something mesmerizing about the fact that their friend had basically become a host for an entirely different person, without the need of remote control technology. The premise that Emilia described seemed sound, but... there was something unnerving about the idea that they might be putting something on themselves in ink that would let basically anyone in. Although, Beth wondered if that really mattered, so long as they had the Ascend to control the body--who would be in control? It seemed paradoxical.

Ivy wasn't so lost in thought, as she stood up and curiously inspected Kelly. She had taken note that Safiya had continued to write, and she was certainly curious about a few things. "First thing's first," Ivy said. "Can we talk to Kelly?"

Kelly nodded. "Of course, I can let you speak to her. In this state, I just need to slightly move my face out of hers so she isn't locked to my movements, and..." Kelly's hands rested on her face, at her cheeks. It seemed for a moment like she was trying to tug her own face off, though in reality no such thing happened. The smallest of adjustments seems to occur, like her head was stretched out just slightly--enough that Safiya's face didn't control Kelly's.

Suddenly her expression changed, to wide-eyed astonishment again--although her body continued to sit patiently and calmly. "Oh my god, Ives, this feels so... so weird! But so good! I don't get it, but every little movement, it's like I'm being hugged and caressed. I can't explain it any better. It feels so amazing having someone in me, even if they--"

Kelly almost shrieks as she isn't able to finish her sentence, as her body seemed too preoccupied to test a few other things! She had shrugged off the business suit coat that Safiya had put her in again, her chest bare for everyone to see, and Safiya really wanted everyone to focus on what she was doing there anyway--as she did the triple-tap on one of her freshly-made spell-circles, and then her finger moved along the line, one that ran along her sternum. As she did, her breasts started to grow, becoming shockingly large the more Safiya moved Kelly's hand along the line!

"W-wha...what are you doing to me? My tits are huge now! They feel so heavy..!" Kelly almost choked on her words, trying to look back up at Ivy but her neck was under Safiya's control, so she could only stare as Safiya picked a size she felt satisfied with, and then hefted the chest in her hands. They definitely seemed more like Safiya's original size! Kelly's face again reddened as she was made to fondle her body in front of everyone else, as she sat on Emilia's desk with her legs crossed.

Emilia cleared her throat, to get the attention of Ivy and Beth who were both locked in their gaze at Kelly's jiggly tits, although this demonstration was certainly going rather well as far as Safiya was concerned. Beth shook her head to clear her daze, and she turned to Emilia. "So this magic ink, it can make portals, it can change body shapes? What are its limits?"

With a shrug, Emilia touches another of the spells Safiya had written, to Kelly's neck, wanting to quiet the squeals and protests of the girl. Triple-tap and drawing the line around the circumference of Kelly's neck, her head seemed to just vanish! All that remained was a stump of a neck, with skin smoothed over. Safiya didn't seem to panic or anything, her hands still lightly groping at Kelly's breasts, her legs kicking back and forth. She did reach a hand up to run along the smooth skin where her head should be, but soon the fingers returned back down.

"Needed to quiet things a little," Emilia said. "As far as limits, that is why I would need assistants. I think three assistants would be ideal, you two with just one inked spell that I could monitor from afar. However, as far as I know, the only real limits would be how much skin is available to write on. That could mean thousands of simple spells, or one incredibly complicated one the length of a novel, whatever that would look like. As long as a spell is descriptive enough, it seems like it can come true. But there are certain things I don't know, such as what happens if the spell is written such that its outcome is a paradox, or if there are some rules of physics that can't be broken. And I would bet I could hire an aspiring journalist like Kelly to document everything we attempt to the smallest detail."

Ivy blinked, looking at the headless body who apparently didn't hear this conversation either. "Wait, are you meaning that Kelly would stay with you in Spiral City?"

"I'm saying that I have a lot of money and generous offers tend to win out over other concerns about the nature of the work, even if relocation is involved." Emilia ran her finger along that neck-stump, causing Kelly's body to shudder at the touch. "Let's be honest here. The three of you are likely looking at years of college and considerable debt all to end up at a job that may or may not allow you to afford rent these days. Nothing is easy to come by these days, but I would solve that for all three of you."

"I mean, if you promise it's just the one spell and you really will pay us, I guess I'm in," Beth said.

"Me too," Ivy agreed. Both of them still looked at Kelly's body, slightly concerned. "But the last part, that's up to Kelly. If she says no, you still have us."

Emilia smiled, as she often did when business ventures started to go her way. She tapped the spell on the neck-stump again, this time following the line in the opposite direction to restore Kelly's head.

"What the hell was that?!" Kelly yelled, really wanting to get confrontational, but her body relaxed back, arms propping her half-nude form up in an almost bored manner as her legs lightly kicked off the side of the desk. "You can take my head away?! It felt dark and silent, but I could still feel everything else, all the touching..."

"Your disappearing head is one of an infinitude of things that could be done." Emilia smirked a little as she pondered the possibilities. "It could add or remove or rearrange body parts, change your sizes, alter the ways you speak and act and move. I could change anything and everything about you with that ink, really, and beyond. A spell could make you fully magnetic, or make you like a transparent balloon in the shape of a person, or turn you into an article of clothing. Maybe I make you plug-and-play compatible with a computer, or addicted to being worn by others. Maybe you want superpowers? Or you want to be able to recolor your hair with a couple taps to your forearm? Big or small, I'm sure we can make it happen."

Kelly squinted a little, as she could do almost nothing else. "That sounds like a lot. And it's in a language I can't even read, how could anyone trust you that you wouldn't just write something that brainwashes another?"

With a laugh, Emilia returned to her seat, looking at Kelly from behind where her swirling orange portal was still visible, still open for things to enter or exit by the looks of it. "I'm not interested in brainwashing anyone. Mental manipulation, that's more Hasegawa's domain, hence why your friends are in a conundrum with their proto-hivemind machines. Even then, I wouldn't waste ink on brainwashing, I like my employees who think on their own and can provide me with good data."

"Employees..? So you're offering me a job too?" Kelly grunted a little as she was made to stand up, leaning forward as she felt the larger Safiya begin to exit her body, sliding out of her slowly and kneeling down so the other woman could step out of her, leaving Kelly on her knees looking up at Emilia, wrapping her newly enlarged breasts up with her arms again.

Emilia nodded. "Perhaps we should discuss terms while Safiya preps the others for their inking..."
