Respawn at the hospital

You open your eyes in shock. "Fuck!!!" you scream as you jolt yourself forward and awake, panting heavily.

"Calm down, girl." another woman speaks from the bed beside yours. You notice a fit lady with red braided hair and fantasy armor, clad in full shining metal pieces. She sits on her bed as she twiddles her thumb. "Still not used to this, huh?" she laughs.

You nod, as you look down and notice yourself still clad in your sexy police attire.

"Wow, you have a sexy outfit given to you, and a really pretty face!" the woman says.

"How can I change this?" you ask, concerned.

"You can't, it's permanently part of your character." she replies.

"What?!" you exclaim. "That's bullshit! I want to level up and become those superheroines and all the cool stuff!"

"I'm sorry, girl. Those are premium characters. I think."

"Premium?? What?" you shake your head in disbelief.

"Forget that I said it-" the woman replies with a sudden change of tone. "You look terrible, you alright?"

"It... It felt so real..." you mutter.

"It does, right?" she laughs. "This is like real life or some shit, they probably jacked into our neural networks through their suit or something."

"This is cool and all, but it sounds extremely dangerous." you reply as you hug your legs together.

"Well, yes, probably..." she stands herself up and offers a handshake. "Anyway, I am MissRina, slayer of dragons and the occasional black knights." she jests.

You get up and reciprocate the gesture. "Nice to meet you, I am Va-" you interrupt yourself from slipping your real name. "Arxlyn."

"Well, well." MissRina giggles. "You got yourself a sexy cop character, can't pretend I ain't jealous!"

"Uhhh... I..."

"You're cute!" she laughs. "We should totally add up."

"Y-Yeah." you nod.

"So, I am guessing your weapon is a gun." she inspects and asks.

"Yeah, I got an **** rifle and a few police gear, like flashbangs and some radar thingy I haven't tried, and a knife for melee."

"Mhmm, decent." she nods. "Still, those are just your starting gear, you can unlock more as you level up and find loot that transforms into specific gear for only your character."

"That sounds awesome actually." you reply excitedly.

"Yeah, no kidding." she places her arms on her hips. "I got assigned this female crusader so I started with a wooden shield and sword. Yours is way better."

"Yeah, it wasn't of any use when I joined."

"Guessing it went south, since you're here." she smirks.

"Fucker **** me as he bled me out with his shotgun." you reply in as you recall the frustrating moment.

"Yup. Welcome to DigiVerse, where women are in short supply and constantly in fear of getting fucked by all the male gamers." she sighs.

"I should be crying, I don't know... I don't feel those emotions..." you say as you shrug it off.

"You'd get used to it. I'm returning to the fantasy realm, it was nice meeting you!" she assures as she taps on your shoulder and disappears into a portal.
