The Aquila Lust

In the dead of space, an engine bellows and roars, a small vessel drenched in slightly rusted white paint and red cross markings blast its way forward, leaving trails of luminescent blue in its wake. The Winterlynx, a Kestrel-class search and rescue starship operating under the United Earth Federation Government insignia. Its profile is much smaller than that of the average starships that traverse space, intentionally designed as such to provide quick response capabilities in both atmosphere and out. Equipped with the latest in spacefaring technology, the Winterlynx boasts state of the art sensor arrays, piloting navs, and onboard garage as well as ample crew facilities with more beds than its crew and a medical bay for receiving wounded personnel.

Its steadfast charge towards the deep black this time was purposeful, as its crew of women gathered around the bridge’s central computer to discuss its mission parameters.
