Chapter 10
by bsnick
Does she stick with it or cut her losses and run?
Stick it out, it has to work out somehow
In the end she decided to stay where she was. It could be her only chance, and she was already this far in debt. Besides, she didn't have any clothes.
She mouthed the numbers as she counted, lost track partway through, and started from scratch. Lionel noted that this time she seemed to be getting a different result, and wondered just what kind of math grades she'd gotten in school.
"A... a hundred? That's not right," she said faintly. "I swear, it was more."
"Well, I guess my tally was off after all," he said, changing the $160 to $100. "Please add up the total."
Bria took the sheet, and using the simple methods taught in grade one she began to add the totals, including the 'credits' he'd given her for the blowjob and her clothes. At the bottom of the tally she'd somehow managed to arrive at $990, only to cross out the first nine and put in an eight.
"For the hundred I gave you," she explained, giving it back to him with a slightly paler face after she signed and dated it.
Lionel stared at her for a moment, wondering how she'd ever managed to graduate. He'd brought her from a two-hundred signing fee up to nearly a thousand dollars with some creative accounting, and he'd find even more expenditures to add.
"I think we'd best get onto the portfolio part. Naturally whatever you've brought is rubbish," he said, waving away a squawk of outrage. "I know what the people in the industry want to see and I won't show them amateurish photos. We'll have to start from scratch."
Opening a drawer he slipped in the contracts, the tally sheet and her money, and pulled out a camera. "Would you like me to lock up your purse while we work?" he offered, and she gave a small nod as she handed it over. He dumped it into the desk upside down, its contents falling to the bottom of the drawer.
"Now then. We'll take some photos of you, ah, nude I suppose, since you're already naked."
Bria flushed. His words made it sound like it had been her idea.
"I don't think we have enough light in here, and the setting's too drab. Let's go out to the balcony," he said, not adding that the balcony was a rusty old fire escape that faced an entire building of run-down offices.
"Out the window, please," he motioned, when she looked around for a door. She blinked, but went toward it. While she did so he typed a few things quickly into his computer.
"There's windows out there!" she gasped.
"Well of course. This isn't the only office building in the city," he admonished. "Anyway, everyone with a job is working right now, so no one will be looking out their windows.
Except for the P.I. who specialized in spying on adulterers, the web-site designer, the photographer, the lawyer, the plastic surgeon, the fetish clothing suppliers and their designer, the tattoo artist, and the piercing specialist, among others. That Lionel had just texted them to be ready at their windows would certainly add to her exposure.
But she was being **** as she stood by the window and it worried him that he might not be able to get her outside after all
Does she reconsider, or capitulate?
