A little time at home

"Here let me help you," said Ryu as he took my hands, and helped me out of my chair. ever since he found out about the pregnancy, he has been a touch overprotective.

"I can get up on my own," I sign to him.

"I know you can, but I want to help," he said. "Besides we have to leave soon if we are going to make your appointment."

"I know and hopefully today we can learn the gender," I sign to him with a smile.

"Yeah, last time he said there was some interference," he said with a smile. "I'll be happy either way but i hope it is a boy. I will take him out fishing and show him the ropes. of course, if it is a girl i will still be happy. especially if she is as beautiful as you."

"Stop it," I sign to him with a small blush. "And I'm sure a boy would be just as cute as you."

"Cute don't you mean roguishly handsome," he said with a wide smile.

I look him up and down before smiling and sign, "no cute."

"Oh, that hurts right here," he said placing his hand where his heart is.

"Come along big baby," I told him as I turned around and got ready to leave. a few minutes later we were leaving the house on our way to the doctor.
