ID Day 11 - Get out of there

You do not know why this little man is so angry with you, or why he likes to use all these bad words. You should go… being around him is not a good idea. He is little, so he has little legs. You are not good at running, but you are still probably faster than he is. You should get back to your cabin and go to bed. Maybe this is all just a bad dream.

But wait… you were turning around, trying to keep up with the little man. And it’s dark out. You aren’t sure which way to go. You aren’t even sure where he is.

But you think it’s that way, so you take off at a jog.

“Gotcha, bitch!” the small man roars, leaping out of the shadows. You try to dodge him, but you feel a sudden pain on your leg!

With a cry of pain, you fall to the forest floor.

Cackling, the little man emerges from the shadows, advancing on you. He raises his knife, but stops.

Somewhere, a wolf howls.

“Hear that, cow tits?” he asks, cocking his head and looking very ugly and evil. “Maybe I’ll just cut you up a bit and leave you for them.”

“Who are you?” you ask, baffled, and also kind of in pain.

He just laughs louder and jumps at you with the knife. But he is not very large, and actually seems more like a doll than an actual person. You catch him and toss him away before he can do anything, but then you realize there’s like a hill over there, and you just threw him over the edge.

He screams as he falls, bumping into things on the way down.

“Ahh! Fuck! Ow! Ah! Ugh! Ow! Ouch! Cunt! Oof!”

It sounds like he landed pretty hard down there.

You hear a growling.

“Back off, you rabid dickhead!” the little man shouts, but there’s a snarl and what sounds like biting and chewing.

You… didn’t mean to throw him down there, but he did attack you with a knife. Trying not to listen to the noises from over that way, you stand up, finding your foot in a lot of pain. He cut you! Somewhere around your ankle, but it’s too dark to really see.

Whimpering in pain, you try to hop back to the cabin.

Eventually you find it, but it’s a long, difficult trip. Of course several girls wake up when you come back in, even though everyone was sleeping. Adella immediately goes to the counselors because you’re bleeding, and they have phones.

Soon you are not back at camp, but actually at the hospital in the city. American hospitals are strange and horrible, and you were in such a panic earlier that you were not thinking too hard about the injury…

But it’s your tendon. You can’t play like this.

It’s a horrible, horrible night.
