Once they both had cleaned up and gotten dressed, Felicia told him that it was time to grab the next part of the set, which was fine with Remy.

He'd taken quite the payment on this job and he was sure the next payment was gonna be even better.

She showed him the map to the next idol and they started trying to figure out a plan.

In truth, Gambit and Black Cat weren't 100 percent sure just where the next idol was.

The map was so worn down that, at best, it gave them a general idea of the area and nothing more.

Which meant that they were going to have to do a lot of scrounging around, unless, as they hoped, this idol was bigger than the previous one.

Of course, being pragmatic, both of them were pretty sure it would be smaller.

After all, nothing about this had been easy, so why would that change now?

Once their reached their destination they realized that it was a jungle area...which meant that the idol could be completely covered up.

Remy let out a sigh and looked over at Felicia who also didn't seemed to pleased with what she saw.

"Well, I guess we're getting to work." He said, getting a nod from Felicia, they both hoped this wouldn't take too long, mainly because they both wanted to celebrate getting the next part of this puzzle.

As they searched, Remy realized something else was going on.

Namely that he was sure they were being stalked, which Felicia quickly caught onto as well.

Both of them tried to give the appearance of being unaware of their current situation so they could give whoever or whatever was stalking them some false confidence.

"Find anything?" Felicia asked.

"Nothing yet...although there's something real interesting over here." He said, Black Cat immediately joining him to look at a pile of leaves on the ground.

As soon as she joined him, Remy began to speak to her as low as he possibly could.

"You get the same feeling I do?" Remy asked her.

"That we're being watched? Of course." Black Cat responded.

"What do you think it is?" He asked her.

"Hopefully an animal of some type." She said.

Remy nodded, but both of them knew things were never that simple.

They tried to make themselves look as off guard as they could, trying to get them to blindly jump at them.

It seemed like whatever it was, it was smart enough to see through their little ruse and it continued to wait, until Remy decided he was the one that would make the first move.

"Alright, whatever you are, if you got a problem with us, we can always talk this through." Remy said as he through a card at a nearby tree, surprising Felicia with his attempt at either scaring whatever it was away or pissing it off so much that it charged them.

Naturally, whatever it was reacted by getting ready to charge.

"Here we go." Remy muttered under his breath.

"Looks like we're getting a fight." Felicia said.

"Hey, might as well have a little fun." Remy then said.

"There are other ways I'd rather have fun, but this will do." Felicia responded.

Suddenly a bush was parted and the stalker emerged.
