Meet the Walkers with Sandy

Hank and Veevee followed the signs toward the airport baggage claim. There wouldn't be as much as they started with, since some of their luggage had stayed with the disabled cruise ship.

Veevee laughed. "Walking in on Mom and Dad hosting a swinging party," she said. "Peter was the best possible sport, I'll have to give him that."

Hank smiled. "Yes indeed," he said. "Do you think Peter and Sandy are going to become regulars?"

Veevee winked. "I can only hope so. Maybe they'll be naturals, even more than you and me." She leaned close. "Peter's not shy about showing off in front of his mom and dad."

Hank nodded. "And Sandy used to play with Jim and Sally, before she got together with Peter. Do you think...?"

"Think? I know," Veevee said. "Sandy was getting it on again with Jim and Sally while Peter was napping. I mean, he knew about it. They were talking about going to parties as a play group."

"A play group?" Hank said. "You mean Peter and his Mom and Dad?"

"I think so," Veevee said.

Hank's mind drifted to his and Veevee's kids. He hoped Lil and Gary had done well during their absence, even if they hadn't been answering the phone.

Hank and Veevee descended an escalator and turned the corner into the baggage claim area.

The carousel was already turning with their flight's luggage. Peter Walker stood between his mom Sally and his girlfriend Sandy, each woman with an arm around him. Jim Walker was collecting their luggage from the carousel.

"Hi, Hank, Veevee!" Sally called. "I hoped you'd make it, but we boarded from the back and didn't see you."

"Hi Hank!" Jim called. "Think we'll all fit into the Beast?"

Hank looked at the diminished pile of the Walkers' luggage. They'd also lost several pieces while evacuating the disabled liner.

"You know, Jim, I think we will," Hank said.

Sally laughed. "Party bus," she said.

"We still have the days," Jim said. "We could declare our house Cruise Central for the rest of the cruise time."

"All right, dad!" Peter said.

"I could go for that," Sandy said. She whispered something in Peter's ear, and he nodded.

Veevee laughed. "I couldn't say no to an offer like that," she said. "Hank?"

"Sounds good to me," Hank said.

"Hank, Vee?" Jim said. "You want me to drop by your house first, or straight home with everybody?"

"Straight home!" Sandy said.

"I'm easy either way," Hank said. He looked at Veevee. "Honey?"
