Thanks girls

Mina cuts the flame and we slowly lower to the ground, I can already feel my heart beating out of my chest. My mom sounds elated as she speaks.

"You all did so well! This balloon is such a clever idea! I'm so glad I volunteered to be the teacher to greet you, I'm absolutely thrilled, you will get great marks for this I know it."

I say nothing, my eyes are dead.

"Thank you miss midnight but you should really praise Seto, he was the hero on this one we would have been quite literally sunk without him!"

The second our feet touch the ground I help the girls lower the burner safely to the grass, it sizzles as it is it burns a mark on the ground. I begin undoing my ropes immediately with vigor.

"Hey miss midnight..." Jiro says quietly.

My mom gives a little hop "Hey Jiro! I'm so proud of you!"

I hurry even faster with these damned ropes. My mom turns to me now.

"Seto I knew you could do it, your getting so good with your quirk!"

I don't look at her...

"Seto do you think maybe we could go somewhere and talk?"

I get my ropes off, I take the bag made of Mina's costume off my ankle and dig my phone out, thenI close my eyes and release a large amount of purple mist. I walk down my mental hallway, the girls are standing there wearing plain white T-shirts with plain white shorts, I look down and I have on the same.

*Crack!*

I open my eyes and fall to the ground, my vision is blurry and I'm covered in sweat now, I give a few coughs. I look down and see I have the outfit, I look up and see the girls wearing the same. They both look confused and shocked.

I hear Mina's voice first "Woah Seto you didn't have to..."

Then Jiro "Stop it Seto! You've already pushed far enough!"

I look their direction and give a smile "It's ok I'm fine... Thank you two for... for you know... I can't believe we actually did it."

I grip the grass with all my might and push myself to my feet. I feel so damn weak and dizzy but my anger is more than enough to keep me balanced. My mom steps toward me from the side "Woah you don't look so good baby... Are you really ok? Maybe you should see the nurse..."

I continue looking at the girls as though I didn't hear her, as though she doesn't exist.

"I'll see you girls later... Thanks again..."

I stagger away, it takes everything in my power to stay standing let alone moving. As I reach the edge of the testing ground I hear footsteps behind me, I know who it is, I want nothing to do with her.

"Seto seriously you should go to the nurse, we can talk there... Please..."

As I walk through the threshold of the stadium I close my eyes, I imagine the hallway, the threshold is in the middle of it. I walk through and turn, I muster every bit of strength I have to create a brick wall, it's not solid and will dissipate fairly quickly, but it will buy me some time.

*Crack!*

I collapse again, this time fully on my face. I roll over on the concrete, I'm all scraped up now, I feel it. I have pushed myself to a level I really shouldn't have, but it was worth it. As I stagger to my feet and cough I can't help but appreciate my handy work. A full brick wall is blocking the door way, it's massive and looks solid, atleast for now. Temporary objects are still strange for me to make, I don't always know how long they will last.

I stagger away as quickly as I can, I just want to be alone. The whole walk is a blur, I somehow make it to the giant building that is the dorms, but just barely. As I enter I find myself feeling confused, I've always had a bad sense of direction and my condition right now isn't helping.

I open the first door I see, my eyes are so blurry I'm not sure where I am, I close the door and take a deep breath. My phone is vibrating in my pocket, as I reach for it I blackout...
