Stick around.

You stick around, checking your surroundings. There isn't any place to sit as people are busy taking up the space, chatting among themselves. You shrug it off and walk around, hoping for some opportunity to present itself. You were about to give up and go somewhere else, until Tanya waved you over to her and the circle of people she's around with.

"Hey John" she says as you approach her.

"How's it going Tanya?" you say, being polite as usual.

"Nothing much...excuse us girls." she says to her friends, as you both walk off.

You aren't too sure what this is about, but Tanya is first to speak as you're a clear distance away.

"Hey John...could you answer me a question?"

"You just asked one." you say wittingly.

"Oh don't be a smart ass. You know what I mean."

"Fine, what is it?"

"John...are you interesting in Kelly?"

Suddenly you feel a chill. Were you that obvious yesterday? You could tell Tanya the truth or lie your way out of it. It's your choice here.
