Investigation.

Helina took the shuttle down to the planet dressed in her official police uniform and headed to the constable's office when she landed. Entering she saw the obese man sitting at his desk dressed in his faded, dirty and tattered uniform. Looking at his name badge she saw his name was Tyson so she introduced herself. She informed him that the GSF had sent her to do a routine check on the outer settlements. She asked to see his arrest logs and travel logs for the last sixty days which he reluctantly supplied.

She went through the logs which were, to say the least pretty sparse but the travel log was the one she was interested in. She found that a ship called the Domina had departed sixty hours ago headed for a planet named Carceris with three crew a captain and one passenger. This could be her ship but she would need to get into the auction office and find out from the auctioneer's computer. She thanked Tyson and headed out heading towards the auction rooms noting that there were guards outside.

Tyson had when helina left communicated with the Auctioneer who said he would handle the problem. Helina reached the auction rooms and was challenged by the guards. She gave them an ultimatum either let her in or feel pain and they laughed which turned out to be a wrong call as she kneed one in the crotch while at the save time chopping the others larynx. Both men dropped to the ground and she took out her cuffs and secured them cuffed together to a pipe. She said thank you and pushed into the rooms.

The cages were empty and so was the auctioneer's office as she entered and headed to the computer and fired it up. Inserting a hacker program circumvented the password and she was in the sale's files and found what she was looking for. The information collaborated the information from the constable so she headed back outside and released the two guards who scooted backwards not wanting any more pain. Taking her cuffs she headed back to the shuttle and sat in the pilot's chair.

She fired up the computer and was just about to call Sado when she felt a sudden pain in her neck before losing consciousness. Therewith a hypo in his hand was the auctioneer accompanied by the constable who jabbed her with another needle extracting some blood. He started to spray the blood over the panels and walls of the cockpit then set the engines to start. They dragged Helina from the shuttle and loaded her into a medium-sized box and watched as the shuttle lifted off on autopilot.

Tyson had programmed the shuttle to self district from an engine overload once it had got into orbital space. They then took their cargo to the spaceport where the auctioneer found his friend and told him to take the cargo to Carceris. He sent a message to Madam Zena that she would be receiving a little gift from him. Tyson and the auctioneer headed back to the police station and celebrated the removal of another problem. The auctioneer bade his cousin a farewell and headed back to the auction rooms to ready for the next sale.

The shuttle entered the upper atmosphere and the engines started to overload and this was picked up by Sado. She informed Anastasia and was about to call Helina when the shuttle exploded. Sado looked at the screen impassively as Anastasia covered her mouth. in shock. Sado was already getting closer to the debris but there was little left of the shuttle however she did find some panels. Using a remote work arm she pulled them into the shuttle and the computer did an analysis and found in the charred remains human DNA.

Meanwhile, a cargo ship had lifted off and kept low headed to the far side of the planet before heading into space undetected.
