Head to the library.

Deciding you need to make the best use of your time you can, you leave the field and head directly toward Solomon Library. You don't have your school email added to your phone yet, so you make your way past the reception desk and into one of the computer areas. You log onto one of the computers and begin to scroll through your email.

Orientation schedule...invitations to various mixers...ah, there it is. From "Office of Student Morals and Discipline" - scary department name. The email's subject line reads, "PLEASE REVIEW: Introduction to the Ephesus University Maidservant Program." You open the email and the attached PDF and begin to read, going slowly and carefully.

Forty minutes later, your head is whirling, your pulse is pounding, and you're almost painfully hard. You can hardly believe that everything they've outlined in the document is really legal...but then again, you did all sign paperwork when you started here, and everyone is free to leave. According to the document, you can't keep Jenny (or any girl who offers herself to you) from attending classes and you can't do anything that would seriously or permanently injure them, but they expect the girls to more or less obey you otherwise. Unless they decide to leave you, of course. But if a girl who's given herself to you refuses to obey you, you can always contact this office with a discipline request. That sounds like something that the girls are probably...eager to avoid.

This is all a little much, and you push yourself away from the computer, logging out so you can stretch your legs, clear your head, and...walk off this other issue. Not having anywhere better to go in the quiet (and mostly empty, since term hasn't even started yet) library, you head into the book stacks. You sigh to yourself as you wander the shelves. Now, this is more like it. Just books, silence, and...

*smack* "Ah!"

*smack* "Mmph!"

The unmistakable sounds of slapping and short exclamations bring you up short. Proceeding slowly, you creep down the shelves toward the sound.

At the end of one row of shelves, {if Britt > 0}the girl you met earlier - Britt - {else}a pale, dark-haired girl in a form-fitting dress {endif}is bent over, bracing her arms on the shelving unit. A young man stands over her, grinning maliciously. As you watch, he brings his hand down on her ass again, smacking her through her dress. {if Britt > 0}Britt{else}The girl{endif} lets out a gasp as the blow lands.

"That's right, little Britt," the guy says with a nasty chuckle. "You talk back to me, you get some smacks. Ya get it?"

"Ugh. Screw you, man," Britt says with clear anger.

Part of you wants to intervene on {if Britt > 0}your new friend's{else}this girl's{endif} behalf. But on the other hand, given what you've just read...clearly this guy is her man, and he's allowed to do this.
