Use the Sex Note to help answer the question, get a surprising answer.

At some point pondering this, Hanta had dozed off.

Unsurprisingly his dreams were filled with women, mostly of the sweet and lovely variety but when his alarm chimed the next morning Hanta also had vague recollections of fleeing from someone just as sexy as she was stab-happy in his dreams.

He ponders what to do some more during his morning-run. And then some more under the shower. But no solution sprang to mind.

But there was something he could do, to get some peace of mind:

Hanta Sero

Hanta will use the Sex Note to find himself a steady girlfriend before graduation from UA University. He will not try to use the Sex Note to make a lover do anything more perverted than what she would use the Sex Note for if the roles were reversed.

Until the end of the day Hanta will see a little cartoon heart floating above the heads of anyone that would be a great candidate to take on a date tomorrow, within the restrictions above.

The last part was partial to test if the Sex Note could even work with such complex conditions as “what another person would do in a hypothetical scenario”.

Writing up the entry and then copying it into the Sex Note had taken more time than Hanta had expected, so the hallways were already mostly empty as he hurried to class. But when he finally arrived he saw several hearts floating above the heads of his classmates.

“Yess!”

In hindsight, letting out a little victory cry and tucking your elbows back in a guts!-pose, had made him llok pretty silly. but hot dang! It worked! Hanta could deal with looking like a bit of a fool for that.

“Safe!” he declared, just as the bell rang, and was rewarded with a few chuckles from his classmates.

Of course Eraserhead, being his usual grumpy self, was less amused by Hantas antics but let it go with a glare and a meaningful nod towards Hantas empty desk.

It wasn’t until Hanta noticed something strange. He had been so fixated on seeing the hearts at all that he hadn’t really paid attention to the people they belonged to.

But now that he took a second look he couldn’t help but wonder: WHY THE FRIGG WAS THERE A HEART ABOVE Minettas’ HEAD?

Hanta tried not to stare, but it was kinda freaking him out.

Now if Hanta had as much experience with the Sex Note as the Erokami Ria he’d realized that “great candidate to take on a date tomorrow” and “more perverted than” were very subjective categories. But since that was not the case Hanta was too flustered to consider the sex notes definition might differ from his.

Which is how Hanta once again sat in his dormroom in front of the Sex Note wondering what to do. He had been too distracted by the heart above Minettas head to really pay attention to other candidates.

Of course Minetta had noticed him acting weird, and asked what was up. But there was no way Hanta could have told the guy the truth. So he had just made up a lame excuse and tried to laugh it off.

There was no way that Minetta would want to date him!

Was there?

That heart had been a very obvious sign to the contrary. And Minetta DID try REALLY hard to show just how much he was into girls. Maybe a bit too hard?

But Hanta wasn’t into guys either.

Soooooo.....

Sure it was a long shot, but Hanta figured if Minetta wouldn’t be ok with what he was about to do, the safety-net would prevent him from going through with it.

Minoru Mineta

Tomorrow after school Minetta will go into the city and visit a thrift shop. Inside he will turn into a cute girl that doesn’t bear any family resemblance to him. He will know Hanta Sero is somehow responsible for her transformation and that he is waiting for her at the bridge in Kogami Park to take her on a date.Nobody will see Minettas transformation and he will not tell anyone but Hanta about it. He will meet Hanta at the park after picking a new outfit for their date. The outfit will look good on her and be cheap enough Minetta can easily afford it.

Minoru Mineta

Minetta will not be able to get truly angry at Hanta Sero for changing him into a woman, even though he won't want to be a girl any more than normal. Regardless how he feels about being a girl, Minetta will make an honest effort to enjoy the date. Before returning to campus Minetta will change back into his school uniform and turn back into his old self. Once he turns back he will only remember running into Hanta in the park and hanging out as friends until then.

Those were the two entries Hanta came up with after writing and rewriting possible option on his laptop for about three hours. It still felt weird that the safety net didn’t trigger, when he finally tried to copy them into the Sex Note. But then again, he didn’t know Minetta that well, after all.

The dice were cast.

If this turned out to be as awkward as Hanta feared, he could always try with a girl next time. But if he didn't try this he'd be wondering forever what it had been about.
