Before Christina could try to come up with another plan she heard female voices in the hallway getting closer. The softball and soccer teams would be heading here any minute. One of the voices laughed loudly.
I think that’s Denise! If she’s the first one to catch me there’s no way this is going to end well!
Christina knew from reputation and a few minor occurrences that Denise was easily the worst bully in school, along with two of her friends. She was one of the few to ever comment on Christina’s extra weight, and she remembered a time when Denise loudly ridiculed a younger student for having an accident when during recess all the girl had done was slipped on wet grass and fallen on her backside into a puddle of mud.
Getting caught by her was not going to be an option.
Christina looked away from the locker room entrance to the exit outside. Partly due to fire code but also to allow the students to get to the game fields without making a long walk through the halls and back around, the door self-locked from the outside when closed but could be pushed open from the inside. About ten yards from the exit were three bushes lined up against the school- if no one saw Christina leave then she could hide for a moment and come up with a plan. She’d likely be seen by anyone walking by, including the sports teams when the leave the locker rooms, but it would buy her a few minutes.
With the voices in the hallway drawing nearer, Christina bolted for the door and shoved it open. Clapping her hands across her chest and between her legs she ran for the bushes, looking around frantically for any witnesses to her shameful display.
Finally a little luck! She thought when she realized it was clear.
She reached the bushes and slid against the wall past the first one, and knelt down behind the second one. The leaves and twigs prickled against her skin, lightly scratching every part of her body they touched.
Oh my god, I’ve never been naked outside… what the hell am I doing?
Christina felt a hot blush envelop her face and neck. Embarrassment and fear coursed through her, but she tried to **** herself to relax for a moment. She took a deep breath and looked around. The only part of a plan she’d been able to make was done, no one happening by would see her unless they got close. Now she needed to consider her next steps.
The fastest way home is straight through the park, the way I normally take. It usually doesn’t have many people this time of day, but sometimes it’s definitely got a good number of dog walkers and joggers. Lots of bushes and trees though, I might be able to go from one to another to make my way across.
Christina looked left, across the teacher’s parking lot to the woods. That’s a long run but if no one sees me then there won’t be anyone in the park. Longer way around but maybe safer?
Either way I still have to get across the street before I’m home… Worry about that then, we have to get moving before the soccer team gets out here. I just want to get home and get my clothes…
