Worried over a tricky second shot, or perhaps feeling a little gun-shy after the previous barrage, Buster Girl tensed up her robotic equivalent of musculature and prepared to leap out of the way. At the last second...!
The Metall closed its helmet down again. There was no shot.
"Ehm, it's perfectly reasonable to forget the attack pattern of this robot. Just remember, Buster Girl: after he emerges, he fires. Until he emerges again, he will not fire a shot. Use that time to-" Doctor Light began, then gulped as the embarrassed robot snapped back at him.
"I-I know! I just got nervous," she huffed, slightly red-faced.
