“I’d like to know more about the Police Corps,” you reply curiously.
“Am very excited to tell you more about the Police Corps as I am a member myself,” Adam gives you a sly grin before continuing, “The Police Corps was set up a few years ago to manage the increasing levels of delinquency and crime in relation to the Daniel’s Injection and to our overall population. There are many tiers and roles within the Police Corps which range from managing Breeding Centers like me to more covert operations like subduing terrorist organizations hell-bent on bringing their twisted worldview to bear.
To be part of the Police Corps, you must first need to join the Police Academy and finish the 2 year core curriculum, which would then be followed by a specialized curriculum based on your skill set. The options that can offered to you will depend on how well you do in your core curriculum. Majority of people will be placed in the administrative path but there are other paths that can be offered for the top 20% of recruits. In fact, there is an urban legend of special elite path for the top 0.1% of recruits but not much is known about what they do and who they are.
Joining the Police Corps does not change anything about your duty to procreate. You will be given ample time in the Academy to find a mate. In fact, I found mine while I was at the Academy. Don't worry though, for recruits like myself which had to carry a child, we were given a one year sabbatical as we carried our offspring before returning to finish our specialized term.
