John arrives in the dark and moody city of Spikemuth in the Galar region. He set his sights on one beautiful goth, Marnie. As he approached Marnie, who from the looks of it in her gym leader uniform save for a sweat towel she was using, just left the Pokémon Center and was approaching the new face in town. She said to him “I haven’t seen you around here are you here for the gym challenge?” John smiles and says “Yes but it’s normal for when I challenge people to a battle it’s on my terms.” “Well look I don’t got all day. So where we battling?” In a instant we appeared at her battlefield, with none of the usual crowd around. John then said “I don’t have any Pokémon but I do have a PokéPet. Marnie it’s normal to fall into a hypnotic trance right now.” Just then she fell under his control. John wondered what PokéPet she should be.
