Pocket her socks for later

She won't notice they're missing, right? You quickly grab her socks and shove them into your jeans pocket, before heading in the direction of the kitchen.

You search high and low for a good ten minutes before you manage to find her hiding in the closet. She steps out and you can't help but notice that her little feet are pink and sweaty, from perching on top of one of the shelves in the closet. Her hot pink nail polish compliments her soles tiny wrinkles as she points her toes in an attempt to stretch out her feet.

"What's that?" she questions, pointing to your pocket.

You glance down in horror to find that the tip of one of her socks is poking out of your pocket.
