Chapter 5

What's next?
Plunder the warehouse
Selina was like a kid in a candy store, darting through the shelves, swiping any small pieces that took her eye. A gemstone here, a gold necklace there... Selina loved to rob museums, penthouses, police lock-ups, don't get her wrong, but there was just something satisfying about taking other thieves' hard-stolen loot.
It was just a pity she was travelling light. Don Falcone had boosted a few portraits and marble sculptures she really found herself admiring.
"You know, I saw all that." A voice in her earpiece.
"And?" Selina asked.
"You're really putting those claws to use, huh? Like, really, really, using them." Holly responded.
“Aw, is lil' Holly getting squeamish?” Selina laughed. “He's a mobster, honey, I'm sure there are half a dozen people floating at the bottom of Gotham Bay because of him. Besides, I know a couple of places on Miagani where people would've paid hundreds for what I just did to him.”
“Maybe you're right. Just... go easy tonight, huh? Nearly threw up my ramen, over here!” Holly said. Selina couldn't help but chuckle.
“So, you got eyes on the plans, yet? Falcone could send another crew in at any second.”
"All in good time, Hols." Selina responded, tucking two stacks of hundreds she'd found on a shelf into her suit.
Continuing her sweep, Selina located the drives, just where Gismondi had said they'd be.
She swiped the drive he'd indicated, and a few more besides. When it came to plunder, Selina always liked to get a few extra terabytes of bang for her buck. She may as well leave with as much contraband as she could hold.
"Okay Holly, I'm heading to the drop." Selina whispered, pouncing out the building and across the warehouse roof, leaving Gismondi to his fate, his “Hammer” slightly bloodied.

A few minutes later, she was at the drop-off point. Holly had set up a few of these all over Gotham. She could bring her loot to any of them, and Holly would have an agent of their fence pick up their takings. The funds would then be wired to one of their many off-shore bank accounts. Thieving and selling off her hot property had never been so easy.
Holly had also left a laptop there. Powering it on and plugging in the pilfered drives, Selina inspected her loot.
The bands on the stacks of bills told her they each amounted to $10,000. Of course, with her experience, she could've told anyone that just from eyeballing them. Selina had a similar eye for appraising the value of any items she'd plundered. Her veritable sixth sense told her the gemstones and the necklace she'd taken came out to about the same amount. 40K. Not bad for a side job on her first stop of the night. Selina was thinking bigger, though. By the time the sun rose on Gotham, she planned to steal enough for her and Holly to be able to retire for life. Not that Selina actually would, though.
"Uh, Selina?" Holly intoned, jolting Selina from her cash-fueled fantasy.
"What is it?"
"It's about the plans." Holly responded.

After the events of Arkham Knight, a new adventure starring Selina Kyle, the one and only Catwoman!
It's been a little over twelve months since Scarecrow last terrorised Gotham City. Now, on New Year's Eve, the city has just about recovered a little normalcy, relatively speaking, sans its pointy-earred and recently unmasked protector.
