You figure you'll use your anonymity to your advantage. They clearly don't recognize you as a senator or they'd ask for a much higher sum.

The two look at each other, and a smirk appears on the Trandoshan's face.

"Thanks," he hisses out, "but you should know, when a certain someone hears his message wasn't delivered, he'll simply send more of us. We might consider speaking with him on your behalf? Let's say, 1000 credits? Deceit isn't cheap, after all."

You would think that the bounty hunters publicly failing their contract would tarnish their reputation, but these two don't seem very bright, and may not grasp the concept.
