Play along

It is my first day at school and I don't want to offend Cynthia so I decide to just play along. Also as Anna has said, it might even be fun. Trying my best not to laugh, I ask her with an earnest look, "What's the prize for winning this game? I mean they don't just do it for fun right?"

Cynthia sits down taking my fake interest for real and starts to explain, "I've heard the winner will get a lot of money. Like 10.000USD or even more. The boys have to pay to join the game though. My big brother Steve wanted to borrow money from me to take part. That's how I know about this secret. He said the season ticket he wants to purchase will cost him 1000USD."

"How do you sign up for this contest?" Anna asks.

"Uhm, I don't know. When I asked him this question he looked me up and down and snorted that I am too plain. Only some of the hottest girls in our school get to play. No one would pay a buck to fuck me." Cynthia lowers her head blushing.

I can't believe Cynthia can keep up with this kind of lie so well and I want to make it a little bit harder for her by exposing some logical flaws. "So your brother wants to pay for the season ticket to join this game but what if the girl just refuses to have sex with him and stops playing? Wouldn't he spend all his money for nothing?"

"I don't know... I have not thought about that." Cynthia shakes her head deep in thought, "But I swear, all I've said is true."

"Are you guys talking about Tag?" A girl behind me asks before pointing at a seat next to me, "Can I sit here?"
