It was currently the middle of November, as the whole attack at the Marel Mansion happened in near the middle of October right after the tournament ended…

“Alright, we’re going to take down those idiots and their turf!!” Said Jamie proudly

“Actually….. I need to take care of something real quick!” Said Alex trying to excuse himself

“Oh yeah, it’s just I need to get something I forgot at home!!” He said walking out the garage..

“Alright then, we’ll come along children we’re going to—“

“Actually I forgot something too and—“

“Ohh noo, I’m letting you call the cops and—“

“It’s okay, I’ll go with Alex!!” Said Linsey going out the garage..

Alex walked towards a hospital holding the money in his hand…

“Alright, it’s fine Alex, nobody’s gonna know where you went, I’m sure Jamie can take care of the kids!” Said Alex walking into the hospital..

A secretary noticed Alex walking in..

“Can I help you sir?”

“Yeah….!”

Linsey watched Alex and the secretary talk to each other..

“What is he doing?” Thought Linsey as she noticed him walking up into an elevator…

She walked after him up some stairs, only for a nurse to stop her…

“What are you doing?! You’re not allowed there without any ID!!” Said The nurse angrily..

“What but I—“

Meanwhile…

Alex walked into a patient’s room, an 18 year old girl wearing a hospital gown in a wheelchair was reading a math book..

“Hey Honey!”

“Dad?!”

The girl wheeled over to Alex as they hugged each other..

“Did you bring anymore school books?”

“Ohhh…. Sorry Piper…. I didn’t really have a lot of time to go ask the high school, I’ve been pretty busy with jobs and babysitting teenagers!”

“Wow, what kinda jobs do, and who are these—“

“Take it easy, remember what the doctor’s said, if you get too excited you’ll end up having another attack from your heart…” Said Alex trying to calm Piper down..

Piper frowned a little as Alex held the money he got from Urien..

“Don’t look so glum, look what I got for my hard work!”

“Money?”

“It’s happening Piper, the doctor’s are going to put you through another surgery, soon you’ll no longer have Arrhythmia anymore!!” He said happily

Piper looked a little sad as she looked out the window…

“But…. What if I fails again?”

“Honey, it’s going to work, the doctor’s—“

Linsey managed to make it to Piper’s room after saying she was with Alex..

“Okay, time to….. what?” She thought looking at what was happening..

Piper was sobbing in her arms as Alex tired to confront her..

“It’s been so long, since I’ve seen other people, I’ve wasted my whole life in here, mom left us, and….. I can’t take it anymore!!” She said breaking down

“Piper….. please just…”

“I can’t keep going on like this, you’re out there doing everything you can for me and….. I always felt so helpless to anything for myself!!”

“Even after those last two surgeries, I haven’t improved or gotten better at all… “sob”…..”

Alex sighed looking at her…

“Piper, I understand what you’re going through, you feel like there’s no way you’ll ever get better, but….. please don’t give up now!.”

“But….. I don’t….”

“Piper….. please….. even if there’s a small chance that you’ll live, please take the surgery, I’m not just going to stand by and watch this sickness beat you!!”

Linsey watched in sadness as Piper and Alex hugged each other…

“I’m…. Sorry….. I want to get better but…… no…. I’ll do it….”

“Thank you…. Ohh hang on… I forgot… I did manage to get a last minute present..” he said pulling out the stolen laptop..

“A computer?”

“I….. it was—“

“Thank you so much Dad, for everything!!”

“You’re welcome, good luck with the surgery, I need to go take care of something!” He said walking out the room..

“Bye dad!” Said Piper waving goodbye..

Alex walked out the room and sighed, he smiled as he walked back to the elevator only to see Linsey in the middle of the hallway..

“Hey…. What are you doing here?!!”

“Wait it’s not what it….”

“How much did you hear?!”

“Look please I—“

“I’m not letting you rat me out to Urien, you little punks may have the Mistress’s favor but I—“

“I’m not going to tell Urien!!”

“…. Then why are you here?”

“…. I just wanted to see what you were up to!”

“…. So….. I suppose this where you have a lot of questions for me?” Asked Alex as the two of them stopped fighting..

2.) Seth and Susan are kept hostage by Yin, Yang, and Daniel at the machine gospel’s base…

3.) Draxum starts to question Gina and Tom.. while Necalli doubts what her master is doing to them is the right thing…

4.) Freom managed to get away from the Soulless as he tires to learn more about his past..
