Pick up a hitchhiker

The trip is rather long to be left with nothing but your fantasies of what you are going to do when you get there. You are just thinking how nice it would be to have company when you pass a hitchhiker along the road. It is a guy, about 18 years old.

You are about to turn around and pick him up when you see another hitchhiker straight ahead. It is hard to tell at this distance, but it appears to be a young woman.

Strange that you should see two hitchhikers in such a short distance, but after all, you were thinking it would be nice to have company. You try to decide whether to pick up the guy, the girl, or both.
