Pick Jinx

”I’m sorry Raven but I’ve actually grown quite found a Jinx even though we only met earlier tonight. And before you begin no I’m not a member of the hive, no I’m not going to turn over secrets to our enemies, in fact Jinx and I were talking earlier in the containment room and I’m going to help her start over, make a fresh start so to speak. Maybe she might even become a titan someday. I’m sorry and if things were different I’d have loved to get to know you better but that’s just not in cards. I hope we can still be friends.” You inform Raven, hoping a calm approach that appeals to her rational side could smooth this whole thing over.

“Fuck you John, fuck you! You’re going to pick her over me? You know what, fine! Enjoy spending the night with your punk rock slut because in the morning I’m going to tell everyone everything and we’re going to kick both of you out of the tower permanently!”

As suddenly as Raven had appeared her form melted into a black shadow and vanished.

“I’m sorry, I really am.” Jinx tells you as she walks up to you and leans her head into your chest, “I’m sure you’re mad at me for getting you kicked out like this.”

“No, that’s not going to happen.” You interrupt her.

“Why not? Do you think Raven wasn’t serious?”

“Oh, I think she’s serious I just don’t think she’s going to get enough support. The way I see it Raven is pissed and will vote against us but Starfire will love the idea of voting for love and will be pleased to have another female in the tower to befriend. I also bet Beast Boy is going to be an easy sell. That just leaves Robin and Cyborg. Raven will need both of them to kick us out and one of them has to be cool… I hope.”

“Will you stay with me tonight? I’m really don’t want Raven or one of your other friends to come in here and find me alone. Plus, I just don’t want you to leave me.”
