Peter. Soldier.

(Author's Note: I enjoy writing stories from the perspective of both sides, sometimes writing both sides can give some insight into the scenes when the camera only looks at one character. This is written from Peter's perspective.)

You're Peter, a Persian cat, not a typical one though, darker fur, a bit stockier then the breed would suggest you should be. And definitely not arrogant like some. You always pretty approachable, a little aloof, and forever playing pranks, or teasing your friends, especially the females in class, girls like Summer for example.

You're done a tour of duty in Europe and state side for a bit, furloughed and not expected at your new base for a few weeks, perfect time to catch up with friends from highschool. Most of your friends haven't responded to texts and the last contact on your list, Summer, the girl you had a crush on in school, you hope she's around. Might as well text her, hopefully she'll respond.
