"I've always had a fascination with Changsha for a long time. Ever since I perused Luo Guangzhong's 'Romance of the Three Kingdom'. Changsha was one of Sun Quan's most important cities." Reverend Dicks said with a fond memory of reading some of the book in College. "I wonder how he'd react to finding out I'd have been a Shu follower."

Dorothy smiled at her husband, "By telling you the book is thirty percent fiction, and you would have followed whichever warlord conscripted you. There wasn't too many professional soldiers at the time. A bloody time indeed."

The Reverend looked at his wife in surprise, "You know of the Three Kingdom Period?"

"I looked it up a while back yes." Dorothy said with a loving smile.

"But you made fun me for taking and interest..."

"Well, I had felt I had hurt your feelings for your interest. It was important to you at the time, so, as my mother said it should have been important to me. Then you lost interest. I was embarrassed to bring it up because I felt it was my fault."

Reverend Dicks looked at his wife, "I'm sorry."

Dorothy shook her head, "It's the past. Let's move on. I gather you would like to invite Peter and Irene here for the Exchange?"

Henry Dicks nodded, which also served to get him back to the present so to speak. "Yes, he's young whereas the rest have established congregations. China's government prob ably wouldn't look to kindly on the practices as well. They believe this sort of thing is immoral. Remember the actress Tang Wei?"

Dorothy thought for a second, then nodded, "Yes from that movie Lust, Caution by Ang Lee."

"Yes exactly, she was banned from working in mainland China after that movie because of the nudity in it. Imagine, with their Human Rights history they thing something like nudity is immoral."

"I believe she had to move to Taiwan to continue her career. So, yes educating them would be the best. Shall we send the word now? Or?"
