Persona 5

(All characters are 18+)

For those of you who don't know, Persona 5 is a video game series about a group who enters the metaverse to change villain's hearts and turn them good.

The metaverse is kinda like an world created based on the thoughts of the world. In it are palaces. The palace is based on how the palace ruler (the criminal) views the real world. If they think their most prized position can be stolen in the real world, then it where appear in the metaverse the phantom thief (the heros) can steal it. If they do and leave the metaverse, the criminals heart will change. They will be overcome with guilt and confess.

There's also monsters called Shadows that the phantom thieves fight with Personas, kinda like Stands from JoJo.

This is just a bit of background though. Not all of this will be important for the story. A few might, but for most of the stories, it'd be centered around the specific phantom thieves. Ex. Makoto, Ann, Futaba. You don't really need to know much about the game. Knowing will just add some extra excitement and make things a bit clearer at times.
