You take a few silent moments, both to think over the question and to look over the question and to look over the girls. Finally, you answer them both. still looking back-and-forth so the one that did not ask you doesn't suddenly feel ignored.

"Perhaps," you say honestly.

"What do you mean, 'Perhaps'?!" Hanna asks, proving she still feels included. "It's your decision to make!"

"True," you say, "but I don't want it to appear I gave the two of you any special treatment."

"But we're the only ones that were being bad!" Krystal reminds you.

"Also true," you say. "But I don't know how long the regular teacher will be out, or how long I will be the chosen sub. Who's to say somebody won't act inappropriately tomorrow, or that I won't give them a different punishment?!"

The girls exchange innocent looks and shrugs, before looking to you again. Realizing they expect you to continue the interaction, you continue instructing your students.

"Now, as soon as you can, get me your individual contact information!" you tell them.

"But Sir!" Hanna says.

"We're not hurt or sick!" Krystal continues.

"I know!" you tell them. "But I'm also not filly ready to punish you! Get the information I need, and leave it for me at the office. We'll forget about detention for now, and I'll contact each of you when the proper punishment is chosen."

The three of you exchange nods, and you watch each ass as it leaves your class.
