This all happens on an Earth that is almost, but not quite Earth-38, Winn is still at the DEO with J'onn still in charge but otherwise everyone is near where they are in the shows fifth season

Our hero/protagonist/very unlucky person: Supergirl/Kara Danvers (Zor-El)

• She's the last daughter of krypton, fled it's destruction at age 12 (Survivors guilt, abandonment issues)
• Stuck in the Phantom zone for 24 years, mostly in stasis, but not quite (Claustrophobia and Autophobia (fear of being alone/isolated))
• Abandoned by Superman to the Danvers family on arrival, lost adoptive father due to her presence few years later (survivors guilt, abandonment issues)
• A prodigy on Krypton but told to hide and be "unexceptional" all her time on Earth until she came out as Supergirl (Inferiority complex, superiority complex and inferiority complex about her superiority complex)
• Cat Grant's assistant for 3 years (beat the previous record by 2 years and 9 months), had a crush
• Tried dating interim CEO James Olsen, crashed before it really launched
• Dated the exile prince of Daxam for most of a year, until he had to flee the planet because she poisoned the atmosphere for his people, with a device Lena made
• Best friend and in denial crushing on CEO and boss Lena Luthor
• What can I say, she has a type

• She is a red skinned demoness who disguised herself as Angelica Blaze, a night club owner. She and her brother Satanus who are half demons are the children of the wizard Shazam and a demoness.
• Runs Blaze's, one of the hottest nightclubs in National City
• Has aspect of the Succubus, is a walking talking low level aphrodisiac, bodily fluids are significantly stronger
• Minor shape shifting, between demon form and human and the degrees of aspects of both forms

• Works at DEO under director Henshaw (the martian J'onn J'onzz)
• In a relationship with Kelsey Olson (James Olson's sister)

Lena Luthor

• Sister of Lex Luthor
• Genius
• Tends to get abandoned/betrayed
• Watched her mother drown as a child
• Adoptive father died (turns out he lied, he was her real dad)
• Adoptive mother hated her, tried to kill Supergirl, later tried to kill her too
• The nice new brother (Lex) went insane and tried to Superman and later tried to kill her, repeatedly
• Friends from boarding school with Veronica Sinclair (went bad) and Andrea Rojas (betrayed Lena)
• Best friends with Samantha Arias (turned out to be a Kryptonian Sleeper agent bent on destroying the world)
• Relationship with Jack Spheer (he got taken over by his own nanobots, she had to kill him to save Supergirl)
• Relationship with James Olson (he broke into her lab on the request of Supergirl)
• Admired Supergirl, then stopped (see above point and a string of less than stellar decisions on Supergirl's side)
• Best friends with Kara Danvers (Lied to her for 3 years about being Supergirl, something all her other friends knew).

• Thinks she killed Lex to save Supergirl, at which point he tells her she's Kara Danvers

• Tried to blow up an airport and a train to make Supergirl decide who would die
• Bugged Alex Danvers to find out who Supergirl was (it worked)
• Blackmailed Alex to get a date (not a happy ending)
• Helped save the world (he happens to live in this world, so it's hardly altruistic)

• Demoted to traffic after insulting Supergirl on air
