Peggy's busy, Sandy has some things to say.

Bryan, Jim and Peter clomped back down the stairs from the guest room.

Jim moved to the phone, "It's late so I'm just going to order a couple of pizzas, and maybe call it a night. Sandy, are you going to stay or are you headed back to Peggy's?"

Sandy smirked. "I called right before I came in. Peggy knows my cell number. So I was treated to half a minute of the hottest part of my sister's hot date. Sounded like the bed was a little crowded. So...I think I better stay over."

"Oh, THAT's what you..." Kathryn said. She put her hand over her mouth.

"Go Pegs!" Peter said.

Sally laughed. "That does sound like your sister," she said.

"She DID get me into all this," Sandy said. "And I'm grateful." She looked at Kathryn, Bryan, and Peter with a smile as she opened her mouth and said, "And happy we have a few more days together."

Peter squeezed her hand.

Sandy looked at her boyfriend. "So we can do everything again. And this time do it right."

Peter hung his head. Sally looked concerned.

Bryan took Kate's hand. They sat down and gave Sandy a little space.

"I forgive you," Sandy told Peter. "I, I want you and your mom to get together again. But let's do this together this time. Together, like with Kate and Bryan." Sandy smiled at them. Kate smiled back and Bryan managed a little grin. "No surprises. Okay, Peter?"

"Okay," Peter said. He looked at his mom, who had blushed pink under her golden tan. "Mom, do you...?

"Yes, Peter, if you want me," Sally told her son. She looked to Sandy. "Sandy, I love you and I'll make sure Peter keeps his promises to you."

Sandy hugged Peter's mother tightly. "I love you too. Do you know how much I missed you?" she said. "Missed touching you? And Jim?"

"Ssh," Sally said.

Peter looked a little off-balance at his girlfriend's declaration. But Sandy had hooked up with his mom and dad at their regular swinging party and become one of their regular partners. And they'd had rather a lot of very good sex, at everyone's account. So really it was no surprise. It was more that Sandy didn't have to hide it to be loyal to him, to protect his feelings. He took a deep breath and relaxed, then smiled. Sandy was his mom's lover. And would be his dad's lover again, probably. Sandy was Kathryn's lover, and Bryan's. But Sandy and he were each other's best, first and last.

The phone rang. Jim looked at the caller ID. "Hank's home, looks like." He picked up the phone. "Hi folks," he said. "Vee, you lovely thing? Uh-huh? Right, Gary and Lil weren't answering? No, what did you find?"
