Paying Rent

Being his landlord? Well, now that seemed to be an interesting scenario.

“I’ll go for Paying Rent.” Josh said, looking at the wolf, who nodded back at him meekly. Soon, Legoshi disappeared in a puff of pixels, and soon, everything around Josh was changing. The ground beneath his feet changing coloration, and now a ceiling was forming above him. By his sides, formed two things: a metal rail and a wall. The rail covered the edge of the hallway, revealing the open air on the outside. Meanwhile, the wall on his other side formed a door, which had a number on it. Looking over, Josh noticed that the hallway had other doors in it, as if an apartment complex.

Josh now understood that he was on the Hidden Condos, the place to where Legoshi moved after he dropped out of school after the fight with Riz. The place where he met many interesting characters like Seven the sheep, and where he would make a home for himself during the rest of the manga and anime.

Josh soon noticed that the environment around him was not the only thing that changed. The clothes he had been wearing had been replace with clothing that were more formal, a button shirt and a pair of long pants. He was also wearing a clipboard on his hand, and Josh was soon looking at it. He soon saw that there were names in it, each one of them showing a number that Josh deduced to be their apartment, and the word “PAID” in it. He also noticed that the sheet of paper had a date of what seemed to be the current month.

It wasn’t hard to figure out that this was the paper to track the payment of rent, and that it seemed that everyone had paid it.

Well, almost everyone.

504 – Legoshi the gray wolf – LATE

Yeah, it seemed that a certain canine had not paid rent on time this month. Well, since Josh was the landlord, then he better go see this wolf to see if he had any excuse for this, and if he would actually pay anything that month.

Looking over, Josh saw the numbers of the apartments on the doors, and walked past them. He passed the 500, the 501, the 502, until he arrived on the door that had the number 504 in it.

That was it.

This was Legoshi’s room.
