"I've got the caps." Madeline said as she reached for caps.

"Fine by me." George said, seemingly happy to fuck Madeline or collect the caps.

He handed Madeline the note with the firing patterns.

"Here ya go. Good luck." He smiled.

"Thanks." Madeline said as she read over the note. It seemed to make sense. She studied it for a good time before she considered moving into the danger areas.

Madeline moved into a position to rush toward the gate. She took in a deep breath. Then ran. She sprinted to a shell hole. A sudden boom and ear shattering explosion landed near by. She moved up and rushed to another shell hole. Not even half way there.

She huffed and puffed as she sprinted, swinging her arms as she ran over the broken ground.

Madeline made her way and as if in a flash she suddenly found herself at the gate to Nellis. Her ears rang but she checked herself and she was whole.
