Chapter 5
by geezermcpleezer
How does Paul react?
Paul politely asks her to sit down and tell him why she's here.
"Why don't you pull up one of those milk crates and have a seat around the fire? It's gonna get cold out pretty soon." Paul says, taking care to not use too much of his crazy voice. The woman complies, bringing her makeshift seat to the opposite side of the metal drum that Paul was filling with pieces of paper and branches. Paul grabs his camp lighter from the tent and lights a rolled up piece of newspaper, using it to spread the fire around in the barrel before dropping it in place.
"So, what's your name and why do you want to live like this?" Asks Paul, to the woman still shaking on her seat. She takes a deep breath and tells him her name, then hands Paul a wax sealed envelope. Paul opens up the envelope to find a folded up letter and three hundred dollars. Paul begins to read the letter.
"Hello Paul,
You probably don't know who I am, but I know who all of the transient people are around our city. I used to be on the streets like you until my music career took off. I am now worth several hundreds of millions of dollars.
Recently I have became aware that my daughter Lauren and her friends have been promising homeless people pitiful amounts of money to **** and humiliate themselves. Even after complying they would refuse to even pay the small amounts they promised just to rub salt in the wound. Enclosed are three $100 dollar bills. Please take this small payment as an advance on a larger payment. Lauren has been instructed that she will be cut off from all of my money until she has lived with you for a year. If she refuses to do what you tell her, feel free to kick her out, though you will also lose out on part of your payment. This date next year, I will give you a million dollars for every week she has stayed with you.
Please take care of my daughter, but she also needs to learn some perspective.
Sincerely, Lauren's Dad"
Does Paul accept?

Can I Move in With You?
This premise really doesn't need a subtitle but if you insist
As long as the question gets posed it doesn't matter who asks, who answers, or what the answer is.
