Paul and Rick, Heterosexual Roommates

Paul and Rick had been roommates for a fair amount of time. The dynamics were already there in their moderately sized apartment. Rick was the clean and professional one. And Paul was the lazy slob who barely made enough of the rent. But they made it work. They were both in their mid-twenties and it was tough finding someone the other could stand.

They both would get together on Saturdays and watch movies together. Sometimes talk about ex-girlfriends or the latest video games. Often they'd joke about how if only the other was a woman than they could marry their best friend. But they had both gone through the song and dance of "experimenting" even if they didn't want to admit to it out loud. And came out the other end pretty assured of their sexuality.

One day though they'd both get what they wanted, and fate would deliverer it to them on a silver platter.
