Pass or Fail! Kakashi's Trail!

(Timeskip-The Trail has already started)

You are currently hiding in a bush, staring in awe at how idiotic Naruto Uzumaki is. This Trail that Kakashi made is quite simple. Get one of the two bells from him, you can continue being a Genin and eat lunch. Fail to get a bell, you are sent back to the academy and no lunch for you.

Any Ninja would know the best strategy for this would be to hide and make a stealth attack. Unless you are Naruto Uzumaki, who has the bright idea of attacking Kakashi head on.

This has ended with Naruto in the river and Kakashi reading one of those books you always catch your dad reading.

"Damn it", you mutter to yourself, "I can't just sit here and do nothing. Somebody needs to help Naruto out. Guess that somebody's gonna have to be me".

You grab a kunia knife from your pocket and run at Kakashi when his back is turned from you. You run behind him and try to stab him in the back. But as soon as you knife goes into Kakashi's back, a puff of smoke appears and you find that all you have stabbed is a log.

"Shit", you say as you turn to find Kakashi behind you, eyes still on his book.

"I would say it was a good try, but lying is frowned upon", Kakashi says.

You are about to attack him again when a of a sudden four Naruto's appear from behind Kakashi and grab onto him.

Kakashi looks a little shocked but just chuckles, "Smart idea Naruto, while I was distracted with John, you flanked from behind with your shadow clones".

You smile widely, "And now Naruto has given me an opening to do this".

You begin to make hand signs.

Horse, Tiger, Serpent, Ram, Monkey, Boar, Horse, Tiger.

"Fire Style: Fireball Justu!", you say as you make a small circle with your index finger and thumb. You rise the circle to your mouth and shot out a giant fireball from your mouth.

You smirk confidently, thinking that you and Naruto have ended the fight. The fireball looks like it is a direct hit on Kakashi. A giant cloud of smoke appears.

All that is heard after the fireball has it its target is Naruto yelling, "Stupid John! Why would you hit me, you idiot!!!"

The smoke clears and it seems the only one who was hit was the actual Naruto and his clones. The clones are gone and Naruto is laying on the ground, burn marks on his body and he is glaring at you.

"W-Wait, what? Where's Kakashi_sensei? How wasn't he hit?", you yell looking around.

"Geez John, thought you said you were gonna kick my ass, not Naruto's," Kakashi says, he is in a tree right above you.

"I used substitution justu again like I did when you tried to stab me. How could the two of you forget about a basic justu like that?", Kakashi says before chuckling.

You growl, "Don't you dare laugh at me, stupid eavesdropping Jounin!"

You grab three shurikens and throw them at Kakashi. But he just pulls a kunia knife from behind and deflects the shurikens with ease.

Kakashi hops off of the tree and lands in front of you.

"Tell you what, I'll give a free punch. Go ahead I won't dodge or block", Kakashi says, finally putting the book away.

You smirk, "You'll regret that decision soon eavesdropping jounin!"

You pull your right arm back and slam Kakashi right in the stomach. But all this does is make Kakashi laugh again.

"A decent punch for someone your age. But if you actually plan on getting as strong as me one day, you're gonna have make you punch as strong as this", Kakashi says before punching you in stomach just like you did to him.

Kakashi's punch sends you flying backwards into a tree. You can barely even move your body.

"D-Damn it! How are you this strong?!", you asks while grunting.

Kakashi just chuckles, "John, you shouldn't ever underestimate your opponent. Especially not a jounin".

"Don't worry John, I'll beat him!", Naruto says.

Instead of beating Kakashi, he falls for a rope trap and is stuck hanging upside down.

"Naruto, just how dimwitted are you? To rapidly fall for my traps over and over again, do you not have any common scene?", Kakashi asks Naruto.

Kakashi has beaten Sakura and Sasuke as well. You stand next to Sakura and Sasuke, while Naruto is tied up to a poll.

Kakashi sighs and shakes his head, "I expected much more from you four. Naruto and John the two of you are far too reckless and are way to confident in your own abilities, you have that problem too Sasuke. John, you also let your angry towards me blind you. You should have been able to predict that substitution justu. Sakura, you were so worried about John that you didn't even notice me sneak up behind you. Though I guess some praises are in order. It is impressive that both John and Sasuke can use fireball justu. Naruto's shadow clone justu was also impressive. But you all missed the purpose of this exercise".

You all look at him confused. He continues, "The four of you needed to work together. Naruto and John started working together but failed miserably. Sasuke and Sakura, you two should have jumped in and helped the two of them out. John, Sasuke and Sakura, you three can eat lunch. But you can't give any food to Naruto".

Kakashi jumps away leaving you four alone. You take a seat next to Sakura who looks disappointed at the outcome of the exercise. Trying to cheer her up you give her a small peck on the cheek, instantly causing Sakura to blush and causing Naruto to glare at you.

"Naruto", you say to him as you get up from the ground and walk over to him,"do you want some of my food? It's the least I could do after hurting you with fireball justu".

Naruto's eyes widen,"But Kakashi-Sensei said not to".

"Well he's not here. What he doesn't know won't hurt him", you say as you grab a piece of pork with your chopsticks.

Naruto opens his mouth wide and you the pork inside his mouth. Almost instantly, thunder and lighting begin to fill the sky and in a puff of smoke Kakashi appears.

"You guys broke the one rule I gave you. You gave Naruto food, you know what this means", Kakashi says menacingly.

All four of you are shaking with fear.

"It means........you all pass!", Kakashi says joyfully, the thunder and light immediately stops.

"You were willing to aid your teammate in need despite the risk. That's teamwork right there. Congratulations, I'll see you all tomorrow. Oh and John you won the bet so I'll hold my end of the deal", Kakashi says, giving you a thumbs up.

"Huh", you think to yourself,"Maybe KaKashi-Sensei isn't so bad after all".
