Part Two

A tall teenager of eighteen years of age with messy brown hair, green eyes and a sculpted physique, paced across the kitchen, helping his mother, Meredith Anderson, a tall thirty-eight-year-old woman with long brown hair, green eyes, a fit body with large breasts with a firm medium ass and toned legs prepare breakfast for her parents.

"Go and take that to your grandmother, sweetie." Meredith Anderson told her eldest child and Mason nodded before exiting the kitchen and walking across to the adjacent dining room where other members of his family including his maternal grandparents and father, Allen Anderson, a man with short brown hair and hazel eyes were sitting.

"Here you go, Grandma," Mason said as he gave the plate of bacon, sausages and eggs to his grandmother.

"Thank you Mason but you and your mother didn't need to fuss all that much," Marge Cahan told her grandson. "Your grandfather and I usually have a simple breakfast. Besides your grandfather was the one who did his back in, not me. I can still work my way around a kitchen."

"I know Mom," Meredith said as she returned from the kitchen, giving a similar plate to her father, Benny Cahan. "But we came to help so let us for once," Meredith added, giving her mother a knowing look.

Taking an early retirement from their jobs over a decade ago, Meredith’s parents, Benny and Marge Cahan had moved to the quiet Evergreen Woods, an area just outside of Redwater City, enjoying the peace and quiet of the area and the company of their fellow retired neighbours. Meredith who had her own family however had stayed behind in Iron Falls, often visiting her parents in the summer or during the holidays with her husband and children, however after her father had suffered an injury while repainting the guest bedroom, Meredith and her family had quickly come to the city to help out her parents.

"This looks amazing, sweetie," Benny said to his daughter, ignoring his wife's immediate response to his daughter's remark, telling her that they weren't that helpless.

"Sit down, Mason and eat," Allen Anderson told his eldest child who stood waiting just in case his grandparents needed anything else while Meredith returned to the kitchen to make herself something to eat.

"Listen to your father. I don't need you running about as well," Marge added. "Besides you need to eat. You hardly have any meat on your bones."

"It's because of all the work he puts in for wrestling," Benny said to his wife before muttering to himself, not so quietly. "What I would give to be a younger man again."

"If only you were a younger man, then perhaps we probably wouldn't have had to spend four hours in accident and emergency because your back gave way while redecorating the guest room," Marge commented.

"Well, luckily we're here now to help out," Allen told his mother-in-law.

"Urgh," A familiar voice groaned, interrupting Marge from responding as a petite, fifteen-year-old teenage girl with shoulder-length brown hair with hazel eyes and a slightly athletic build entered the dining room. "Why's it so bright here?"

"Probably because it's California," Mason said as his sister, Molly Anderson sat down at the table. "And maybe because someone didn't get enough sleep last night."

"Actually, I got plenty of sleep," Molly responded.

"I was talking about me actually," Mason commented. "Not everything revolves around you, Molly."

"And that's where you're wrong, as usual," Molly smiled. "And clearly you got enough sleep if you were up before me."

"I didn't get enough sleep because someone was talking on her phone all night." Mason pointed out.

"It wasn't all night." Molly defended.

"It pretty much was," Mason responded. "I just don't know who would be crazy enough to talk to you until four in the morning."

"Your future sister-in-law that's who." Molly fired back.

"Who?" Mason said in confusion.

"Anneliese, Sara's sister. I told her we were here and she said she would come down to see me." Molly responded. "Speaking of which, you're gonna make your move on her while we're here, right?"

"On who? Anneliese?" Mason said still slightly confused.

"Ha! You wish!" Molly laughed for a few seconds before clarifying. "Sara."

"Now there's a name I haven't heard in a while," Meredith commented as she entered from the kitchen. "Have you spoken to her recently, Mason?"

"Mason speak to a girl he likes? That's hilarious, Mom," Molly laughed. "He'd rather stalk her Pulse page."

"I didn't stalk her," Mason defended himself. "I checked out her page like twice and I haven't looked at it in a while but last I heard she was in Redwater University."

"Not this week she isn't." Molly teasingly spoke. "Anneliese said something about Sara's friends breaking up with each other. Isn't that fate? You're here at the same time as the love of your life."

"She's not the love of my life." Mason shook his head.

"Of course she is," Molly smiled. "Everyone knows that so just do us all a favour and make your move already.”
