Park Date

As another workday nears its end, you feel your phone vibrate. Pulling it out, you find Adela had sent a selfie of herself wearing a red polka-dot dress whilst sitting on a bench.

'wanna hang out at the park tonight?'

'would love too just give me a few minutes'

'sure Ill wait for u'

'love u. see you soon babe'

'c u <3'

As soon as possible, you head to the park. You find Adela sitting at a park bench, feeding ducks with a smile. Her task has her distracted enough for you to sneak up and sit next to her. Once you're seated, you wrap your arm around her shoulder, making her look at you.

"Hey there." You say.

"Hey Oscar."

The two of you kiss before Adela throws some more oats for the flock of ducks in front of her, to which you comment "Looks like you're popular."

"Yeah."

"So this is what you were doing whilst you were waiting for me?"

"Sure was. I like feeding ducks... Used to do it with my grandpa before he passed."

"Keeping up the tradition?"

"Yeah. And at least we're not feeding them bread anymore."

"That bad for them?"

"Yeah."

"Huh. The more you know."

"Well, anyway I'm out of food. Shall we go for a stroll?"

"Sure."

You both get up from the park bench and start walking through the park.

"So you much of an animal person?" You ask.

"Yeah a bit." Adela replies.

"Would you have a pet if you could?"

"Yeah. I'd love to have pet otters."

You raise an eyebrow. "You can get pet otters?"

"Sure can. I'd want to do it properly though. With the room they'd need and all that jazz."

"Seems like you've done your research?"

"Just a little."

"Well, I guess you never know."

"Guess so. One can dream, right?"

"Certainly."

That's when the two of you near a food truck named 'Paco's Tacos'. The two of you agree to get dinner there. Somehow you both manage to eat your tacos without making a mess. With your bellies now full, Adela says "So what now?"
