Paige begrudgingly waits in line

Frustrated Paige made a big huff but decided it would be better to wait in line. Although she didn’t do so quietly. “Come on! Move it! Some of us have places to be!”

Some of the others waiting in line were getting annoyed as Paige made a long wait feel even longer. Finally Paige made it to the front. Since she had no carry on luggage this time, she stepped up. “Excuse me, you need to take your shoes off,” a female security guard said.

Paige rolled her eyes. “I most certainly do not. I’ve never had to take my shoes off. And this floor is definitely not sanitary.”

The woman raised an eyebrow. “We can do this the easy way or the hard way, take your shoes off now, please.”

Paige rolled her eyes. “Fine,“ Paige said. “I don’t need a fat whale trying to intimidate me.”

The woman’s eyes narrowed as Paige kicked her shoes off and stepped through the scanner. “Arms up,” The woman instructed.

Paige obeyed. As she the scanner finished an alert went off. “What was that?” Paige asked.

“Please step out of the scanner and make sure your pockets are empty and you have nothing metallic,” the woman said.

Paige rolled her eyes as she did what the woman said and stepped in again. As she did the scanner went off again. “Come on, I’m going to miss my flight!” Paige shouted. “You’re going to owe me compensation!”

The woman’s eye twitched. She grabbed Paige’s arms and pulled them behind her back, zip-tying her wrists together. She then pulled Paige away still without shoes towards a room off to the side.
