Paige Returns From A Date

I'm sitting in my kitchen with my laptop open. But, I take my eyes off the article I'm reading when the door opens. Earlier, Paige had told me she was going on a date. Another potential long term Master. I see Paige enter, and rush to the extra room. Paige isn't allowed a room of her own, but we did agree that she needs a place to store her things, such as her clothes for going out.

"How was it?" I call out.

But, Paige doesn't respond from the room. After a second, she pads back out. The dress, and any other clothes save her chastity belt have been left discarded. Her nudity, which once might have left me speechless, had become routine to me.

But, Paige doesn't answer me. Instead she takes a seat and the table and simply...sits there. Her head hangs low slightly. Her eyes are hidden from me by her bangs. But, surely they would have been distant with thought.

I closed the top of my laptop. Paige wasn't normally this quiet. And I didn't like to see my friend looking so low.

"Not great?" I softened my voice.

"I was so excited..."

Silently, I got up from my seat and hugged her neck. She put a hand on my arm and gripped it for support. For a moment I was tempted to say more. Maybe even suggest she take a break from her search for a Master for a bit. But, I couldn't say that. Not, when we both knew that the unusual situation we were in couldn't last forever...
