Chapter 62 by GivenUpOnTrying GivenUpOnTrying

I've never really been into music, just in general. It's not like I don't like it or anything, but as a rule I can get along with most genres and styles, so I just kind of listen to whatever people put on. Plus it means I can learn stuff about that person, what they think about certain things, their mood, that kinda thing. Not that I'm judging. I try not to judge people. I really try.

Rouge is making that hard right now.

We didn't really have time to explore the revelations my sister had dropped on us at the house, we had a schedule and Elise had a job to get to. A job she's performing beautifully, the bar feels transformed from a dingy dive to the deck of a high-class cruise ship. I can't believe I've never heard her play before, I should've known after I heard her sing that she'd be equally good at this. Alas, my attention is divided as I'm desperate to get more information out of Rouge.

"So, guess Rob isn't here yet... Or Skye." I point out nonchalantly, taking a sip of my cocktail.

"Anya either." Rouge dodges the question. That's true, Jessie mentioned something about a course, it's easy to forget how committed Anya is to her work, and damn, is her work good. Reminds me, I need to go in for a touch up in the not-too-distant future.

I'm getting distracted. "Why did you tell us what happened? I thought you bullied Skye into staying silent." I demand.

"I told her to be silent about it, and that I wouldn't tell Trish, but not that i wouldn't tell anyone. Plus, I tell you everything... Sorry for the delay on this one... It was.. I was..." She stutters, fracturing her otherwise calm demeanour.

I decide to help her find the words. "You were ashamed?" I ask.

My sister nods, before taking a drink. "I was just so... Angry, and lonely, and, let's be honest, horny. I had so many things on my mind." She confesses. Well, that makes it a lot easier not to pass judgement, it's not like I haven't come on to someone in a rush of emotional distress. I mean, I didn't actually have sex with her at that point, but it wasn't for lack of trying.

"So... You still claiming to be straight? I'm just saying, you've had sex with as many women as me." I joke, trying to lighten the mood. Rouge rolls her eyes at my assertion, but I can see a smile breaking through.

"Only because the guy I was on a date with was asleep!" She retorts. "I'd be more worried that we have a fifty per cent cross over of female lovers." She adds with a smirk. Yeah, that part gets weirder the more I think about it, hence I try not to think about it.

The thought makes me reach for my drink again, before considering her statement again. "You stay away from my girlfriend." I smirk, forcing a laugh from Rouge's mouth. The girlfriend in question has switched from classical melodies to more contemporary ballads, a couple of which I even recognise from the radio. I prefer Elise's version better though, and not just because of the eye candy. It's been almost a week since we had sex, it's been difficult thinking up excuses, especially since I'm dying to be with her again. Man, if tomorrow goes well I'm going to rock her world.

I'm getting distracted again.

"You still want to go ahead with your little plan?" Rouge brings me back into focus. "I wouldn't blame you for not wanting to help, after... Well, after everything I've done."

"No more solo runs." I repeat our mantra. "Look, what you did was... Morally questionable at best, but it's not like it was cheating, Trish was literally fucking me and Elise at that exact moment. Besides, it doesn't change how you feel about her, or how Skye does, or how she does for that matter." I point out. I know it sounds like I'm placating Rouge but I mean it. We all do things we're not proud of.

Rouge puts her hand on mine, I think she was half expecting me to disown her, but the look of gratitude on her face tells me she's glad to have been wrong.

"How was the threesome, by the way?" She asks, her smile transitioning into a sly grin. I don't need words to answer, I just open my eyes wide and nod contently. "Really? That good? I remember when I had one it was just a bit dull."

"Perhaps because it was with two gay men?" I laugh. "Who knows, if everything works out, maybe you, Trish and Skye can find out." I add, causing Rouge to cringe.

"I'll pass, that sounds like the most awkward thing in the world." She answers, her cringe turning into a disgusted chuckle.

I'm glad I learned the truth, I'd be lying if I said it didn't change my opinion on the situation, I think Trish deserves to know they slept together, but it doesn't matter now. My plan's a good one... Probably. And it'll give Trish the chance to make an actual decision, it's the least I can do for her.

That being said, I have something important to focus on first. The most important thing. My most important thing.

"I feel so alive, people really seemed to enjoy it!" Elise states cheerfully as she almost prances around our room. We'd stayed long enough to help pack the equipment away, but given our plans for tomorrow, I wanted to make sure we got home to sleep early... A plan currently being foiled by how excited my girlfriend is.

"Moon, come to bed, we'll look at the bar's page in the morning, see all of your glowing reviews." I offer, pulling open the duvet to invite her in.

Elise looks at me and pouts. "But I'm so awake... Are you going to do something to wear me out?" She asks sweetly, slowly walking towards the bed. This is what I was afraid of. It's one night. One night. I can turn her down for one night. I can. I'm sure I can.

"I... Trust me, after tomorrow, you'll be thankful I said no right now." I try to explain, but Elise's patented 'fuck me' eyes are a powerful draw, even more so when she climbs onto the bed and begins straddling me.

"But it's been so long..." She whines. "I miss your touch... And your taste..." She continues, leaning down and beginning to suck on my neck. I can feel myself getting wet at her efforts. Fucking bastard, fuckity fucking fuck. Why is it so hard to not have sex? I did it for almost two decades, why am I incapable now?

Summoning the force of a thousand exploding suns, I manage to push Elise back. "Believe me, I want to, so damn much... I just... It's important, okay?" I clarify, stroking her cheek. She leans into my hand and seems to accept my explanation.

"Okay..." She relents. "But tomorrow, I'm going to make you feel things you didn't think were possible." She whispers seductively... Is it too late to change my mind? Damn it, stay strong. Elise dismounts me and lays down next to me. "We can still cuddle while you stoke my hair, right?" She requests, her eyes wide with worry and hope.

"Try and stop me." I smile, pulling her in close.

Tomorrow's all planned out, Gabriel confirmed all the timeframes for the limo for me, I double and triple checked the bookings at the restaurant and the hotel, everything's paid, sealed, signed. I wish that made me feel less nervous. After I let my guard down with Elise's parents, I suppose there's a part of me that's expecting something to go wrong. I won't let it.

This day has to be as perfect as Elise.

I'll make her feel how much I'm in love with her.
